Hi, Kevaniel; it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
My name is Kevaniel Newbold, but I go by Kevii. I am originally from Nassau, Bahamas, but I grew up in Naples, Florida. Growing up, I always had this innate drive for business. Deep down, I knew I was destined to be an incredible businesswoman, ready to conquer the world. My journey began when I landed my first job at age 20 as an administrative assistant in a tax office. Alongside that, I also took on a role as a front desk clerk at a hotel, where my love for the hospitality world ignited. Eventually, I decided to leave my administrative job and entirely focus on my position at the hotel because I saw immense potential there. Within just two years, I found myself promoted to Front Office Manager. This role opened up a whole new world of operations and human resources for me. I delved into everything from account receivables and auditing to data analytics and customer relations. By the time I was 24, I had climbed the ladder again, becoming the Operations Manager. It was then that I realized operations was truly my forte. With two entrepreneurial parents as my inspiration and mentors, I knew entrepreneurship was in my blood. After honing my skills and gaining invaluable experience, I felt confident to take the leap and start my own business. That’s when B.O.L.D Consulting Agency was born in 2022. My company specializes in business workflows and operations, specifically targeting small to medium-sized businesses. I’m passionate about educating and equipping these businesses with the tools and resources they need to build a solid operational foundation. I’m dedicated to helping businesses thrive, from streamlining workflows to optimizing processes. Transitioning from the hospitality industry to founding my consulting agency has been a journey filled with challenges and triumphs. But with my determination, expertise, and unwavering passion, I’m ready to make a lasting impact in the business world. B.O.L.D Consulting Agency isn’t just a business; it’s a testament to the power of ambition and the drive to make a difference. And I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me next.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey could have been smoother sailing. Numerous challenges have been along the way, some of which I didn’t initially understand were crucial for my growth. One particular moment stands out to me during my time at the hotel. I found myself folding towels, feeling frustrated, and thinking, “This isn’t what I signed up for. Why am I doing this?” But that experience taught me a valuable lesson. It made me realize the importance of understanding every aspect of the operation, even tasks that might seem mundane or unrelated to my role. I understood that to excel in operations and management; I needed to comprehensively understand all the hotel’s departments and how they function. I needed to be willing to step up and fill in the gaps when the team faced challenges. Complaining about tasks outside of my job description wouldn’t get me anywhere. Growth requires discomfort; it requires stepping out of your comfort zone. Becoming an entrepreneur has been far from comfortable. Dealing with imposter syndrome, facing setbacks, and experiencing failures have all been part of the journey. But my passion for what I do is what keeps me going. I know that what I’m building is more significant than just myself. It’s about making a meaningful impact and leaving a legacy in the business world. Every challenge, every setback, and every moment of discomfort has ultimately contributed to my growth and development. Embracing these challenges and pushing through them has made me the resilient and determined businesswoman I am today.

My business assists small to medium size business owners optimize their business structure, workflows, and operations through operational efficiency. Operational efficiency is crucial for businesses of all sizes, especially small to medium-sized businesses, as they often operate with limited resources. Optimizing workflows and operations through Business Process Management (BPM) and Standardized Operations Procedures (SOPs) to help businesses reduce costs, refine processes, and enhance the quality of their services. My business emphasis on providing tailored solutions and focusing on client experience demonstrates a customer-centric approach. Empowering business owners to become better leaders rather than just improving their workers speaks to the importance of long-term growth and sustainability. In today’s competitive landscape, where agility and adaptability are key, your company’s services could make a significant difference in scaling your business.
