Check Out Fifth Floor’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fifth Floor. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Fifth Floor

Drawing inspiration from Coin, 1975, Five Seconds of Summer, and Paramore, Fifth Floor can liven up and room with their fun, upbeat pop-rock style. Fifth Floor is a group of friends who met and formed in a practice room at Guilford Technical Community College in High Point, North Carolina. Each band member has a different musical taste and background, but the chemistry when they play together is insane. So, when asked if they wanted to form a band, the answer was absolutely.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey to the Fifth Floor has been a relatively smooth road. Like every other band, there have been a few minor bumps here and there. The band members do an excellent job at solving any problem that arises quickly and effectively.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Fifth Floor is a pop rock band based in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a band, bringing joy and an open, welcoming environment for people to thrive in is their goal. They are known for high-energy, crowd participation-heavy shows that leave people wanting more. They are most proud of how much they have grown as a group. Starting in a small practice room in a school they all attend, they never would have thought they would make it this far. The momentum behind the band has been incredible to witness and experience.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
When you find someone with your best interest at heart (who also has a lot of connections), it is best to hold those people the closest. This industry is very cutthroat, with everyone trying to make it to the top, and without the support or advice from peers and mentors, Fifth Floor would be nowhere near where they are today.
