Daily Inspiration: Meet Chloe Clark

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Chloe Clark.

Chloe Clark

Hi Chloe, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started photography a few years ago when my mother handed me her old camera and said, “Have at it.” I’ve always loved pictures, whether I was in front of the camera or behind it.

From there, I just went around taking photos of our pets or places where we would go hiking until I was more comfortable with operating the camera. I had told my friends about this new hobby, and soon, we would plan photoshoots for me to get some extra practice… and cute photos to post, haha.

Now, I gladly say that I do both nature and lifestyle photography. I have had the opportunity to travel for lovely shots of scenery as well as take portraits of graduates, couples, engagements, and more!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been smooth sailing. Learning photography was a little tough at first when there were lots of setting adjustments, and I wasn’t even taking classes for that field of work!

However, I have been blessed to meet others along the way who had prior knowledge in photography that could point me in the right direction. I would also follow other photographers on Instagram or watch their YouTube tutorial videos to find examples and tips for what I was trying to achieve.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
While photography isn’t what I am going to school for, I have worked on building a small business to take photos for people around the area here. I love to create galleries for clients that can be beautiful timestamps of those moments.

I do self-portraits, graduation cap and gown photos, sports, couples, and really anything that someone may ask of me! If it is something that I have not had experience in, then I will ensure that the client knows, then gather research and just go for it. I like to keep my prices for photos affordable for everyone and focus on making the product the best possible.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that may not be known about me is that I’m a perfectionist!

I really focus on details when it comes to anything, which can always be a benefit but also a weight. I find it important to pay attention to details, though, to ensure there are best outcomes and nothing is missed.
