Exploring Life & Business with Bret Cooley-Jones of Shaken and Stirred Bartending LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bret Cooley-Jones

Hi Bret, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started off in a local bar in Elon, NC called the tap house serving up beer on tap. My manager trained us all once the local liquor laws changed and I started bartending mixed drinks. From there I worked in several local bars and clubs until one day a regular customer of mine inquired on me bartending their wedding. From there my business was born.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part my business has been a fun-filled ride. My major hurdles have been my pricing standpoint and trying to stay fair and affordable, but make a profit in this competitive market.

We’ve been impressed with Shaken and Stirred Bartending LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I specialize in mobile bartending services for weddings, private events, birthdays, retirement, baby showers and corporate events. I offer a variety of packages for all of your bar needs.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My family/friends and community have been a great support. Whether they are reposting, referring or booking for themselves. They help with marketing me and my business regularly.
