Meet Nick Baxter of Raleigh, NC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Baxter

Hi Nick, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story is quite a ride but to cut to the chase I am a rapper, artist and skateboarder from Raleigh, NC and have been doing what I do for the better portion of my life. Around 2020 though is when things started to ramp up as I had time to sit and dial in on my crafts and reevaluate what I was doing and decided that music, art and skateboarding was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and put my focus on.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a long rocky road filled with potholes to say the least but through what i’ve gotten through so far I wouldn’t have it any other way. I believe obstacles are the way and I have learned to be grateful for every step of the journey whether its ideal or not for the strength of character it creates.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a rapper, a skateboarder, a digital illustrator and a painter. Depending on who you’re talking to I’m known for any of the above and specialize in all. I also blend all of my creative endeavors into each other to create something that is unapologetically me and an embodiment of everything I love. Im not proud of one thing more than another but more so my commitment to staying true to myself and never giving up what I love to do.

Any big plans?
I just released a new song called “The Devil’s Tramping Ground” named after the infamous North Carolina legend featuring another NC Hip Hop artist, FKB$ and I will be starting to create a music video for it this summer myself using my art, animation and video editing abilities. I have a few other new songs lined up to be released throughout the next year and I am constantly drawing or painting something. That’s as far as I can go with that here but I urge anyone interested to follow me on social media and enjoy the show.
