Today we’d like to introduce you to Typhon Singleton

Hi Typhon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up in Newark New Jersey and I was influenced by some of the rappers that’s in the industry like Jadakiss ,biggie ,Tupac Shakur, and the list goes on. I always had a style of spitting bars and I will freestyle around the house but I couldn’t never make a song. Until one day my cousin and my brother locked me in a room and put some beats on and told me to write the first thing that came to my mind, so that’s what I did. Music became an outlet for me dealing with my mother’s situation of domestic violence and I wanted to express my feelings and I knew it was other people that was dealing with it as well ,so that’s how it started. As of today I’ve been signed to a music library called super selective and I’m enjoying the experience. I’ve been doing music since I was 13 years old I’m now 36 and I’m loving it. My style is very unique I can rap sing and write my own songs I’m in the process of learning how to make my own beats so no one can hold me back from my journey. I appreciate everybody checking out my music my new fans and also the fans that are still around to see my journey I appreciate y’all so much you will see more of me.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No that journey has been very hard dealing with all the scams lot of people playing with your dream I’ve been through it all it’s not been easy but no one said it was going to be easy so I never took it that it was going to be easy I just went with the punches and I always got back up.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
When it comes to me as an artist I’m very versatile I’m more of a storyteller I like to express my feelings and my opinions or things that I went through in life cuz I know I’m not the only one that went through it.
I always think outside the box I don’t just do music I’m a artist I’m a motivational speaker I have my own channel on YouTube called must be tripping with fans are interacting and I’m gaining a great fan base. Well sets me apart from other artists a lot of artists don’t write their own music some artists don’t even like to learn new crafts I’m go getter and when I want some I’m going to go get it.

What matters most to you? Why?
What Matters to me is that I leave a footprint on this earth that I help somebody achieve their goal that I reach somebody with my music that my message got through to someone and changes their life.
