Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
When we moved to Raleigh in 2018 from California, we landed with nothing as our movers made their way across the country. We had to rent some furniture and wait patiently until all of our stuff got here so we could start our lives. It could have been a more pleasant experience. When COVID began, we saw a shift in the real estate market with remote work. There were many migrations from expensive states to more affordable ones, like North Carolina. With that came the need for temporary housing. Based on our personal experience, we decided to provide a solution to ease the transition and provide the best moving experience.

We started turning our rental properties into fully furnished- short-term ones. We wanted to ensure that every individual or family moving to the area would have a place that feels like home until they find their dream house. Understand how this process goes, we try to provide as much flexibility as possible to our tenants, as we know that they don’t always have a firm timeline and have very different needs.

With time, we grew our offerings and network, and now we offer units across the Triangle, as well as complete relocation packages. We also work in various markets, such as traveling nurses, insurance, and construction.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It mostly has, but that is because we are hard workers. The main issue we always face is the unknown future. Unlike traditional rentals, in our niche, a property could be empty today but folly booked for several months tomorrow. That creates a lot of stress but also encourages us to keep working on our marketing to create a healthy pipeline of leads.

We’ve been impressed with NC Triangle Connection, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are relocation and short-term rental specialists. We provide an experience that makes the move seamless and headaches-free. What sets us apart is our service- we will go above and beyond for our customers to make sure they can focus on what is important to them- whether it’s finding their dream home or their work.

Yes, we use Asana for task management, Bigger Pockets, How I Built This, and MAsters of Scale podcasts, Chat GPT/Google Gemini for marketing, and Mail Chimp for Email Marketing.
