Monique , thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
Born in North Carolina, Raised in Stamford, Connecticut. Went to Berkeley College in New York for Fashion Management & Merchandising. As a Delta Epsilon Chi business student accomplished esteemed award as Top 8 in US for problem solving (Human Relations). Graduated 1987 & worked in Manhattan, NY in advertising. Saatchi & Saatchi DFS Compton & Ally & Gargano. My clients were Toyota, Leggs & Dunkin Donuts. Got married at age 22 and my abusive ex-husband exposed me to drugs and hopelessness. Was a victim of verbal and mental abuse for 6 years and suffered heart-attacked and stroke. After rehabilitation, new life began, remarried. my new husband, my king and best friend Leslie “Les” Ray. We’ve been together 30 years, married 28 years. Daughter ,Whitney 33 and grandson Marcus Jr. 12. Ordained a Recovery Pastor & Chaplain, Opened a home for women & children “In His Hands Wholeness Center” in North Carolina and served as Chaplain for Cape Fear Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC. Relocated to West Coast for work. Continued my spiritual journey, Received Double Doctorate 4 yrs apart in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and Christian Ministry. Opened a sober living home for women and worked with Judicial system. Also headed up Spiritual Recovery as a Chaplain and Group facilitator for Veterans and civilians at a Luxury Rehab – Virtue Recovery. Just relocated from West Coast to Clayton, NC. 5 months ago. to care for my mother who has Dementia. Trained and certified in hypnotherapy, energy, sound healing and halotherapy. Over the last 1 year really started to experience awakenings which challenged me at my core and sent me seeking… I found Corey!

Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
“Healing” is my Heart and Goal. I’ve served as an “Interfaith Chaplain” for over 10 years and consider myself the “Perfect Stranger.” My business is named Pathway to Freedom. I am a women’s circle facilitator & coach, feminine warrior, and ceremonialist. I am passionate about guiding and accompanying women on their journeys of awakening. I bring peace, love, guidance and a renewed sense of joy and direction to the hearts & souls entrusted to me by the Universe. I do that through different modalities such as energy work, hypnotherapy, sound therapy, guided meditation, breathwork, & shamanic practices. My compassion, experience, balance, and empathy help make hope & brighter days come alive in everyone I meet. I love to see women, heal, awaken, and step into their feminine energy & power.

Moving from Las Vegas to Clayton, North Carolina, I was on a soul-seeking, someone help me mission. When I discovered Corey at Dancing Moon in Raleigh, I knew it was a divine connection. Booking my first session with him, I immediately sensed his genuine presence and attentive approach to my spiritual disarray. Corey’s skill as a master shaman made me feel safe and heard, helping me to understand the challenges I was facing.

Over the next few months, my connection with Corey deepened as I continued to book his services, eventually becoming an official student. His curriculum is intentional, focused, and free of unnecessary chatter, providing just what is essential. Corey makes himself available to answer all of my questions, no matter how simple, which brings immense joy to my soul.
