Rising Stars: Meet Francesca Delisle of Morgan Hill, CA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Francesca Delisle

Hi Francesca, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We started MySyde out of my need as an entrepreneur. All of the walls I hit as an entrepreneur is where MySyde was born. How do I get clients? I know people need my services, now how do I find them? How do I market myself on social media? All of my followers already knew what I did; I needed to find those who didn’t know the services I offered. As an entrepreneur you are wearing every hat, you are juggling ways to keep the clients you have, and gain more clients to grow your bottom line. The buck stops with you!
This is where MySyde comes in…. we have created a Community Media app that connects the Local Community like never before. We have a WayFinder function so you can show where you are at. A feed to share your story, to share what makes you unique. You are not held by your followers, you can talk directly to your buyer, your local community. We are bringing Word-of-Mouth to digital, using your network’s recommendations to connect you to what you are looking for. You can filter all your searches by who your friends, family, and neighbors recommend, bringing word-of-mouth right to your finger tips. Lastly, we have a Community Calendar so that we can truly connect the community. Imagine being in the KNOW of what is going on in your area. The MySyde Community App connects the Community like never before!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This has definitely not been a smooth road. 1. We are not engineers so creating and app from nothing with developers has been a challenge in communication. How fast can you learn all the different terminology and systems you need to build an app? 2. We are doing this on our own . We are completely boot strapping. We don’t have a massive budget and it really limits what we can do with marketing. It’s a lot more of the Boots on the Ground approach where we are connecting with the community directly to get our name out there!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
For over 10 years I have been a Personal Chef. I am able to create, to feed people, to give to their souls and connect. I have loved every moment of that. As an entrepreneur I have been up and I have been down. I know all the marketing pitfalls I have hit. All of these lessons have brought me to where I am at. It has brought me to an idea where I found a need and we have filled it with MySyde! This is what sets me a part from others- I had an idea and I ran with it. And with that I was able to build a team who backs me up 100%. This is what I am most proud of! I am showing my kids that they too can do anything with enough grit and determination.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5 years I want to see everyone using MySyde! Ai will get to know you and what you like. Hey Bob, tonight at Kelly’s Brewing is Trivia Night and this weekend coming up their is a car show in San Jose that will have music. Bob, there are 3 painters near you who your Network recommends. Would you like to call them? Bob, there are 2 wineries nearby and 1 has a band playing tonight. Would you like directions?
We would like to see more connection to what our users like and want. More connections to what is going on in their community. Giving the users the ability to be in the know.
Putting our businesses right in front of their buyers. Giving our businesses the ability to thrive. Thrive in doing what they love to do.
We see MySyde helping small business grow by connecting the community like never before.
