Today we’d like to introduce you to Donald Robertson Jr.
Hi Donald, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Wonderful question to begin with! The goal was to always do for self and to create an establishment that caters to my talents. My family has a deep history being involved within the field of entrepreneurship so for me, seeing that personally made me believe that I can do the same. During Covid, that time when the world was still, I was able to start from scratch. Creating my motto; developing my mission statement. Designing my logos that signify me on how I want my company to be viewed! I was able to take advantage of that time and put it into good use! The motive for me was to not create a business and watch it fall. Maintaining your business will always be a challenge but staying consistent will lead into more growth and achievements along the way. This is why Dynasty Image, LLC is still continuing to grow and trend in the right direction because we believe and understand that we want to make a difference for all of our customers that we come in contact with.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I truly love this question! Just like in life, nothing comes easy right? This is the same for me being an entrepreneur. It is very challenging but that comes with the territory. Knowing that the road will never be easy is what makes me strive for more. There are times when my equipment is experiencing maintenance issues. The most frustrating part is that honestly. Having to do little to a lot of manual labor can take time! Countless hours just to make sure that everything is operating properly. Not only that, but this is also where growth comes in. Recognizing the issues that may occur, you will now know how to approach it for the next time. My goal has always been to make sure to deliver quality work on time. In reality, you may not make that deadline due to situations preventing it from happening. Obstacles are a part of becoming a successful business. You just got to know how to adapt to those roadblocks and adjust accordingly.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Currently, I am a Professional Sales Consultant for Modern Toyota located in Winston-Salem, NC. I truly enjoy everything that comes along this profession. The ability to meet new or pre-existing customers and to go over new products that we have to offer is the beauty of it. It’s a game of numbers. The more you see, the more opportunity that you have to sell! The thing that I am most proud of this being able to provide as much information to a customer as I can. Not everyone that walks into your dealership is going to buy on that same day. The least I can do is deliver what you need to make the best rational decision for yourself. A customer can buy a car everywhere, but they truly buy off the strength of you. Are you being respectful, professional, transparent? These traits are so important to even get close to making a sell. Being this invested in Sales, you grow that confidence to present yourself in a way that your peers can’t do. Walking strong and deliver strong! Ultimately the results will show. Being in an commercial also adds value to being recognized. Each criteria that I have displayed plays an important role on how I conduct business with customers and how I also transition to applying it into my company as well.
