Hi Kathryn, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Doing hair helped me fulfill my dream of helping people feel good about themselves. My goal in life is helping others see the beauty others see in them. I want to have a safe space that everyone can feel welcome.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have been a lot of ups and downs to get here. I didn’t go to school until after I had children. Thankfully I have been surrounded by amazing stylists as mentors even before I started school.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Cosmetologist. I specialize in curls, grey coverage, lived in color and vivids.
I really strive to have open communication with my clients. I want to empower them to speak up for themselves and be heard.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
That we absolutely need human connection and contact to live a heathy life
