Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Be Enlightened began with a spark of inspiration and a deep desire to make a difference. As an administrative professional, dedicating much of my time helping businesses and non-profits navigate their operations more effectively, I realized I had a keen eye for details, an innate ability to organize, and a passion for helping others succeed. After years of working within the box, I felt a calling to do something more—to create something of my own that could not only serve businesses but also empower them in a unique and personal way.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
So far, it has been a decent road. While some businesses start off unprofitable and sorting their way through, Be Enlightened has found quick success, and established a foundation to continue to build off of. My greatest struggle is developing a “me”. Someone that takes as much pride in their work as I do. Additionally, navigating the work/life balance, ensuring the needs of those I love and care for the most are met, before giving myself to the clients.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an administrative professional. I provide administrative services to our clients all across the nation. I specialize in Time Management, and Organizational Leadership. I am most known for helping business owners to create habits, and set boundaries allowing them to maximize their efforts towards the growth of their business and its profitability, while Be Enlightened handles the administrative tasks. I am most proud of my recent work with the city of Knightdale, my first published book (Time Management Tactics), and being granted the opportunity to speak with high schoolers in Cary, NC about the importance of organization and its benefits. I am naturally a go-getter. I have worked and prayed extremely hard for everything that I have. I am always pushing myself to keep going, despite the resistance. I have learned that some of my greatest work comes from producing in pain and through the grit of life.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
As an administrative professional, AI can be a bit intimidating. Especially considering the various facets that AI encompasses. Nevertheless, administrative services will always be necessary whenever there is a business present. Whether large or small, there is always work that can be given away allow CEO’s and business owners more time to focus on growing their profits.
The biggest change I can predict over the next 5-10 years is the recognition and awareness of virtual administrative services, and more outsourcing for administrative professionals. Be Enlightened has strategically aligned itself with the basis of administrative services and we are preparing daily to meet the needs of clients who will require our services on a larger scale!
