Today we’d like to introduce you to Maj3sty

Hi Maj3sty, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am focusing on serving My God better, becoming a better husband, and serving the community. As an American Musician and Singer-songwriter, staying independent is imperative. Currently, I am using my Non-Governmental Organization, eMillennial Kingdom, as a record label. The hope is to perform in various places and receive donations to help feed those in need. My wife is the Owner of Vegan Sweet’s & Treat’s one of the top vegan bakeries in the state of North Carolina. We are launching a collaborative effort entitled, “Play for Charity,” in order to make everything happen.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. I was misdiagnosed with schizophrenia in my early 20’s and then later was diagnosed with childhood PTSD, which has caused some anxiety as well as depression. Before meeting my wife, I battled with seizures and thoughts of suicide, alone. Before all of this, I was also homeless, which opened my eyes to the world and the cruelty of it. Currently, every day is an ongoing fight to overcome and conquer myself.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a Musician and Singer-songwriter who plays and performs original music. I play the acoustic guitar, slide, and the djembe drum. I look forward to progressing to the electric guitar, slide, as well. I am proud of My God. I do not believe in boasting or bragging on oneself or others, but I will boast about The Holy Spirit. What sets me apart from others is my testimony and the purpose that accompanies it. Other than that, we are all the same, just presented differently.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is growing up with wolf-hybrid dogs. Dogs and animals have always been more relatable to me and family, as opposed to people. I grew up seeing the behavior of wolf-hybrid’s and they somewhat allowed me to be apart of their pack. This is my favorite childhood memory, because it instilled in me, certain principles and character that Abba allows to be an asset to those around me.
