Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m delighted to introduce myself and share my story—the essence of which is captured in my latest (and fave, so far) nickname: “Metaphysical Mary Poppins.” The funny thing about this nickname is that it evokes a similar vibe to my LAST fun nickname… the canna-fairy-godmother in combat boots (and the boots in question were purple, with mandalas on them). So with that, I’ll share a bit of the journey…

For decades plus, I’ve been drawn to all things spiritual, metaphysical, and natural. In 2011, as a single mom with two then young kids, I founded my company, originally named Diva Mama. D.I.V.A.—the name of my first workshop series—stood for Divinely Inspired Vigorous Attunement. The products, originally, were meant as a “back of the room” series of aromatherapy Synergy Sprays™—inspired by my work in spiritual care, including having been a Certified Past Life Regressionist and former full-time Clergy member (Jewish Cantor, and then a non-denominational interfaith minister).

But I never really planned on creating a product series… I just took the old adage “necessity is the motherhood of invention” literally.

I made products that fit what I needed and had long sought as a single mom on a tight budget who was also a natural wellness seeker. I just wanted to offer something affordable, easy-to-use, and powerful. Aromatherapy fit the bill because it’s the oldest healing modality on the planet to initiate a spontenaous and transformmative shift on a mind-body-spirit level.

I channeled the original line: Aromatherapy Synergy Sprays™ by allowing my heart to direct the deep “why.” The “how” evolved organically from there. I created blends the way I understood life to be stemming from my childhood growing up in a household where poetry, science, and spirituality were equally identified and valued. My “Creates” as I call them, still represent that same ethos.

And so in 2011, my company, and the first iteration of Synergy Sprays™ were created—followed (air date Summer 2014)—by an appearance as the debut mom on Bravo’s Extreme Guide to Parenting. Ours was not just a brand, but a resonant story of an actual mom and kids who were authentically standing behind it. Synergy Sprays™ (Clear, Center, Nurture, Inspire and Smile) got attention—and awards—for being a fully eco-produced, first-in-class aromatherapy delivery system. From there I wrote the book (first edition published January, 2018) “The ABCs of CBD: The Essentinal Guide” which I am quite proud (if not a bit shocked) is in its third itieration and has, to date, sold 15K copies worldwide. The book is still hailed as “the industry bible” for the hemp and cannabis industries and when I have a spare moment I will be updating the kindle version, editing the 4th print edition, and hopefully also doing an audiobook version.

Seriously, I totally surprise folks when I tell them my “actual” age because I use a little bit of Bliss as facial moisturizer and anywhere on my body that I feel needs a bit of self-care or what I call “restorative jhuzing.”

I deeply appreciate, that because of how long ago I started this journey, I was called a Pioneer of Compassionate (emphasis on the word “passion”) care company. My focus was—and is—to design according to “modern alchemy”—merging ancient plant wisdom with breakthrough science. The products are all about offering “Luxury for skin, soul and senses” and are still—to date—supported by my work as a media wellness personality—offering programs and processes to help people remember the truth of who they truly are. I also relaunched a YouTube channel (@SynergyShow) and am excited for all of the cool interviews and content we have coming up.

The whole journey feels a bit surreal sometimes because when I started, I really felt I had no idea what I was doing. But—at the same time—I have always just followed Guidance and trusted my innate “gut” aka Higher Self.

I was comfortable offering whatever felt valuable for myself and my kids knowing there were plenty of other people who were seeking the same experience and benefits.

Due to myriad factors for which I had been aligned to experience in this temporary and phantom funny thing we call “human life” I can honestly say, for a lot of people “traditional” works fine. For me (and my “kids” now almost 22 & 24), not so much. I found I had a mild aversion to fitting inside boxes—preferring, instead—to sing and dance on top of them.

So I am only half joking when I say that I still, today, have a titanium infused throat chakra perpetually in the “ON” position.

I find it amazing to consider how many years I have worked in the holistic wellness space—not just as a creator of products, but as a recognized media wellness personality who ADORES creating products, and discussing myriad topics such as law of attraction, holistic and integrative wellness, metaphysics, quantum mechanics, and all forms of spiritual care.

Synergy products are also vibrationally amplified and going through a quantum jump / new genesis. We are about to launch a new line: Synergy Sensuals™ that support pre, peri and post menopausal women but they deeply resonate for all women—in all phases of life.

So really, the best is yet to come and for ALL of it—I am so incredibly grateful to be on this ride.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In my early years when my kids were young, there were many times I honestly felt overwhelmed from a tsunami of struggle. I had taken the last bit of divorce money, used some of it to load up on what I could afford at Bob’s Big Boy Discount Furniture mart (or whatever it was called). The rest, I chose to invest in myself and that’s why I launched a company dedicated to natural wellness products inspired by, and for, my own kids and “for everyone seeking sanity on the way to serenity” (that was my first tag line). I create from experience, and if something works for me—I want to offer it to others.

Basically my products allowed me to bring balance back while financially, energetically, and emotionally supporting my family.

The flagship line—the Synergy Sprays™—started because I wanted to help my own kids any way I could more deeply love themselves, feel better integrated, and more empowered.

12 years later my kids are slaying it in their independent (mostly) young adult lives. My nearly 22 yr. old son is about to be promoted to Corporal in the USMC. He also meditates and just ran his first Spartan race! My almost 24 yr. old daughter is a successful YouTube influencer (under her brand name of AMI – Emma Adler), and is finishing an MFA in sculpture this Spring, while concurrently working as a Gallery Manager and has produced some very cool pop culture infused art and gallery events in Atlanta.

So beyond what I used to feel—plenty of crazy difficult true and real experiences—the unfolding—and ongoing rewards—make it all worthwhile.

I am a unique combination of myriad categories and identifications. So, this question I’m going to answer practically, AND from the click-my-heels-three-times Metaphysical Mary Poppins persona (more like a spiritual archetype, really).

My Business is really a Business & Practice as my products have accompanying Mantras…. so they technically fall under a unique category of products with a spiritual practice.

When I first downloaded the vision of the flagship series of Synergy Sprays™, I knew I was doing so from a place of spiritual service. Basically all the “really hard” stuff I’d previously aligned to experience… was a great launching pad—a litmus test and catalyst from which to manifest/create and offer products as a physical representation and solution series to overcome myriad challenges and obstacles.

Now, with vibrationally amplified products, my purpose and passion are to simply help people remember the truth of who they truly are—and manifest according, and more specifically, from an activated, enlivened, and empowered space.

The second identification or “role” I chose and stepped into was as Creative/Artist.

I actually have a background in music (BA and MFA in voice) but singing and writing are creatively related endeavors. So, following the footsteps of my late mother and grandmother (among other published peeps in my family constellation), I wrote my book. It was an endeavor to offer glimpses into my internal and expanded conversation—blending my love of metaphysics/spirituality with “modern alchemy” (merging plant based wisdom with breakthrough science). “The ABCs of CBD: The Essential Guide” also saved my throat chakra some wear and tear since by that time I’d begun to do more media work and was saying the same things over and over, where hemp and cannabis education and advocacy were concerned. I am also so deeply grateful to be recognized as the only founder of a plant based (hemp-centric) therapeutics company created by a vetted hemp industries leader and author.

All in all I feel I am best suited to identify outside of any category because I just am… Creator. I am whatever I choose to focus on—and expand. The same is true for absolutely everyone reading this—in this moment—anywhere—and anytime.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
In the way I now understand and consider the word—Luck—I’d have to say it has had zero impact on any part of my life or business. Why? Because there really is no such thing as “luck” if one means to suggest a form of randomness to the Universe.

There can be the FEELING of being lucky, or the experience and expression of that which we identify as feeling like “luck.”

But words mean more than we think they do and while something may “feel” a certain way… good or bad luck, for example… especially as relates to any form of randomness and results…it isn’t actuality.

The truth is we are in a delicious dance across a full spectrum of ALL potentialities and possibilities existing in an “AND…” duality beyond “either-or.”

Basically everything, coming from a Luminous Source perspective, only speaks of the Universe as generating a dynamic we experience as levels of increase and decrease and we, in harmony and as part of the ALL of the Universe, decipher and create/manifest more of either wanted and unwanted.

Luck implies something beyond our control and as I firmly believe in Law of Attraction… I believe we are all Divine Sovereign beings who can wield our Free Will and Divine connectedness to Source, and each other—better and more intentionally.

Imagine we, in our condition called “human” have spent a thousand years playing a hardcore game of telephone. That is how we have come to be in a place where people now believe luck means one thing—and—that it can only be experiences in good or bad versions.

But if one looks up the root / causal origin of the word “luck” devoid of the historical references that have heaped on guess what? The root origin of luck is actually from Middle Dutch, English, and German and can mean HAPPINESS.

And once we “go there” and look at roots of ALL language, taking it back to Sanskrit, the first language of consciousness… you may be surprised to see what words really mean, without the emotionality and historical conditioning we have collectively added to it.

So if you desire to create your own Luck aka Happiness… just say so… out loud… own it… practice it… wonder how to do more of it… and be patient while you wait for the Universe to delvier you the experiential answers to your wondering.
