Today we’d like to introduce you to Ava Vann

Hi Ava , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In short, I started a mobile spray tanning business at the age of 18, which sustained itself for about five years before I secured a small studio space. This eventually led to the privilege of opening our first brick-and-mortar location, and now our second. I am currently in the midst of a 13-year journey and am excited to continue growing. I believe I have been able to achieve this thanks to the unwavering support of my family and customers, along with a touch of tunnel vision of where I see this company heading.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

I choose to value the opportunity in such high regard that even the challenges I encounter are seen as privileges. I believe in the mindset that I don’t have to face these challenges, I get to. Of course, there have been endless challenges and uncertainties along the way. The largest struggle I have faced is removing myself from taking appointments and allowing others to step in. This transition has been crucial for the growth of the business but has also been one of the most difficult aspects to manage.

Sunlessbody Custom Spray Tanning was founded from a desire to provide a healthy alternative to sun exposure. Our mission is to offer our clients a luxurious and personalized spray tanning experience tailored to their specific needs. We specialize in comfort and individualized service, ensuring each client receives a unique and memorable experience.

We are known for our luxury white-glove spray tanning services, setting us apart with the ambiance and overall tone of our salons. Every detail is meticulously designed to create a remarkable experience, from the decor to the personalized attention each client receives.

What I am most proud of, brand-wise, is our unwavering commitment to quality and elegance. We refuse to conform to a cookie-cutter tanning salon model, instead focusing on delivering exceptional service and maintaining our distinctive brand identity. Our devotion to excellence ensures that our clients receive the best possible experience every time they visit.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is watching my family pursue entrepreneurial journeys. I always joke that my mother is my unpaid employee. From a very young age, she would brainstorm fun business concepts with me. We would pretend and discuss mantras, logos, and how we would run all the internal workings of a business. I truly believe she is the root of my drive and ambition to be an entrepreneur. I love her dearly.
