Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlotte Cardwell and Kaci Wall

Hi Charlotte / Kaci , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Camel City Beauty Co. started in 2017 in a little 600 sqft studio in downtown Winston Salem. Charlotte started with Makeup/spray tans and Kaci started with Massage / lash extensions. We both were eager to learn and build our list of services and over the first year of CCBC we did just that! Over the next 7 years we added wonderful artists to our team with many talents! Now in 2024 our mission is still to provide quality service and care to our community!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course I would love to say yes, but as most business owners know we have had some bumps. Covid 19 was a big one for us, as we have to shut down for about 8 weeks. Thankfully we stayed strong and made it through with the support of our team and clients!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Camel city Beauty Co specializes in making women and men feel beautiful and confident. We offer many services and a few of our most popular ate Lash extensions and permanent makeup! We strive to have the best techniques and best products for our clients. Education is key and we are always learning and gathering new/better ways to perform these services. Nothing makes us happier than seeing our clients smile in the mirror after we finish!

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Our definition of success is seeing our clients happy and returning to us for their next services! When we have clients come in and we’re referred to us by a friend because that friend was so happy with us! Of course being booked and busy is wonderful but we really feel most proud when clients are happy with their results!
