Community Highlights: Meet Nahir Gallardo of Artz Attack, Rock N’ Roll High School and Growan LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nahir Gallardo

Hi Nahir, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always dreamed of being a business owner, especially with my deep roots in art. Growing up, my mom was an art instructor, and she taught me so much about creativity and expression. As I got older, I pursued more formal art lessons and realized that teaching was my calling—not just teaching, but one day owning a school. Fast forward, I opened Artz Attack 8 months ago, and it’s been an incredible experience. I’m so grateful for my amazing students and the chance to do what I love every day. Alongside that, I ventured into Airbnb hosting about 5 months ago, which has been both rewarding and challenging, pushing me to grow in unexpected ways. On top of all this, I’m thrilled to announce that I’m now the proud new owner of Rock N’ Roll High School in Apex, where I’ve worked for nearly three years. I’m excited to dive into this new chapter and see where this journey takes me!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all! The journey has been full of struggles, and honestly, I’m still learning and growing every day. I deeply admire so many successful business owners who’ve paved the way. I can honestly say that God and my family have been my foundation throughout this entire process. Four years ago, I was completely lost, unsure of what to do or where to go. I felt like my dreams were just that—dreams. But everything changed with one decision. Once I made the choice to embrace change and believe I was worthy of it, things started falling into place. Of course, it hasn’t been easy, but it’s shown me that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Artz Attack, Rock N’ Roll High School and Growan LLC?
Artz Attack: We offer private and group art lessons! We are currently located inside of Rock N’ Roll High School and we hold lesson Friday-Saturday. We have a small art gallery exhibition when the semester ends!

Rock N’ Roll High School- Rock ‘n Roll High School is a dynamic musical instruction and performing arts school in Apex, NC. Our unique and innovative approach to music education allows students of all ages to learn and improve skills while having fun!

Students ages 6+ learn technique and music theory while having fun learning songs they know and love

RnRHS instructors are professional, master musicians that love to play and love to teach
Innovative music programs and performance opportunities for all skill levels include: Private Lessons, Rock Band, Songwriting & Recording, Audio/Video Production, Summer camps, & Karaoke/Open Jam nights!

Instruction is provided for vocals, piano, drums, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass.

RnRHS features a concert venue with professional sound, lights, and stage. All students are invited to perform at our regular concerts for family and friends
