Stacy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I used to say I found copywriting accidentally but it turns out that’s not quite the case. One night, I was doomscrolling (as one does on Facebook) and saw an ad for a copywriting course. I didn’t know what it was at the time and was intrigued. When I started to learn more, I realized it was a perfect fit – not only for my skill set, but because it was a business I could begin to build on the side. I spent the first year and half doing exactly that until I was able to resign from teaching and focus solely on my business. My story is actually the perfect example of what effective copywriting is: getting the right message to the right person at the right time. I now get to spend every day helping impact-driven business owners do the same thing – share their story in a way that connects with their ideal clients.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Yes and no. I set financial goals and have been able to meet those each month, which was my biggest worry initially. Even more importantly than that, I’ve built incredible relationships along the way and have connected with many amazing people. But owning a business is no joke. Every win and every fail rests squarely on your shoulders. It’s a whole different kind of stress you have to learn how to navigate.
The biggest thing I’ve had to internalize is the idea of progress over perfection. It’s okay to have big, bold goals but take baby steps to get there.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Stacy Eleczko?
Often, clients come to me because they want a new website. They put up their websites to look legit or store information but then hit a plateau. Their sales cycles are long and they’re getting lots of unqualified leads. They know it’s time to make their websites do some of that work for them. And they know they need strategic content to effectively turn visitors into buyers. However, the real issue is often their messaging, which is the foundational to any business’ marketing efforts. For copy to be effective, we need to figure out what makes their ideal clients tick and triggers them to make buying decisions.
That’s why I offer brand messaging strategy with my copywriting services. This approach is one way I differ in how I provide my services.
As a result, my clients gain clarity around how to talk about their services and what sets them apart from their competitors. They know how to more clearly communicate to and connect with their ideal clients. But the best part is they gain a new sense of confidence, which is really rewarding. I love when a client says to me that they now think about their business in ways they never have before.
I’m also known for my no-BS, fluff-free approach. My goal is for the businesses I work with to convert more buyers because they create real connections, not because they use gimmicky or high pressure tactics. There’s a fine line between evoking and exploiting emotion, and I’m cautious to never cross it.
Another thing my clients love is my weekly emails. They get actionable insights along with a little sass in their boxes every Tuesday morning.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
People often ask who I like to work with. The answer is simple: good people doing good things. My favorite clients run impact-driven businesses and view their values as their North Star. I also spend a good deal of time on LinkedIn and love to connect with people there.
