Today we’d like to introduce you to Charles Norman

Hi Charles, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I first got started in the trucking industry I left my good paying (manager at enterprise rental car) to pursue my dreams of working for myself and building a company I can past down.
I started ACP Executive Logistics in 2022 where I operated and logistical ran a box truck. By myself I traveled all across the country picking up and dropping off loads.
I scaled pretty quickly to four trucks, where I had 8 full time employees, and ran the trucks locally. At my age when I started I was 25 which is very young in this industry, which leads me where I am today in 2024 an owner operator with two dump trucks and two AWESOME businesses partners, Alex and Mildred. Where we are flourishing and growing.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been smooth, but I will say it’s worth every trial and tribulation endured. Some struggles a long the way where being a young man in this industry, earning the respect and trust of contracts.
Maintenance that may come about with operating trucks, and lastly the up and down prices of fuel.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We supply rock,sand,asphalt, and demolition pick all across the triangle and even further out to the coast of NC. Construction and infrastructure needs dump truck owners and operators to supply these materials to build highways, commercial buildings, residential homes, and much more!
We specialize in saftey transporting these goods and safety unloading.
Our company is known for transporting all material in safely and on time.
I am most proud of being one of the youngest owners in the Raleigh Durham area.
What sets us apart is our clear communication, timeliness, and friendliness.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
People who known me before starting a business know, but I played division one basketball at Troy University graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human services.
