Hi Quentin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I initiated my channel in 2017, primarily concentrating on the collection of Funko Pops. My content involved taking viewers on excursions to discover exclusive store releases, alongside conducting reviews of these collectibles and others acquired through various means. By 2019, my collection had expanded to over 200 Funko Pops across diverse themes. That year, I attended my first comic convention and sought to engage more deeply in the community, participating as press at NC Comic Con in the fall. From 2020 to approximately 2022, I returned to focusing on Funko Pops. After this period, I served as press for several conventions, traveling as far west as Seattle, Washington, and as far north as New York. I shifted the emphasis of my channel to encompass all aspects related to comic conventions, providing viewers with comprehensive walkthroughs from the opening day to the final day of each event. Over time, I established a reputation that enabled me to conduct interviews with a range of personalities, from comic book icons to A-list movie stars. Currently, my page features over 150 interviews. In 2024, I achieved a personal record by attending 15 conventions within a single year. For 2025, I have already scheduled 12 conventions, although this number may fluctuate.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey has been characterized by numerous challenges and achievements. It was not until 2023 that I fully committed to my endeavors. Prior to that, I was married and prioritized my family over personal ambitions. My inaugural trip to Seattle occurred in 2023, and from that moment, I dedicated myself entirely to my pursuits. The year 2024 proved to be particularly demanding, as I participated in 15 conventions. I was unaccustomed to such a high level of activity, which required not only the right equipment but also careful budgeting for each event. I have embraced every obstacle as a valuable lesson. Throughout this process, I remained focused on creating content for those unable to attend events or engage with celebrities.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I produce video content, capturing over six hours of footage for each event and subsequently editing it into three to five segments, each lasting approximately ten minutes. My work is distinguished by comprehensive reviews of conventions, incorporating not only my perspective but also insights from attendees. I feature videos that allow participants to discuss a variety of topics. A highlight of my career is securing a solo interview with Lou Diamond Phillips. My content stands out from that of other creators due to the unique themes explored and the individuals interviewed. It is rare to find a channel that offers solo interviews with celebrities while avoiding conventional questions. I conduct in-depth explorations of each guest, often uncovering surprising details that leave them astonished by my knowledge.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
An intriguing aspect of my experience is that I have undertaken all tasks independently. While I might showcase a video created by my children, I have personally been involved in 95% of the content production. This includes everything from application processes to conventions, as well as editing and posting videos. Additionally, I oversee all four social media platforms. As a result of these responsibilities, I have acquired the skill to edit videos efficiently using an iPad.
