Hi Megan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began not long after covid. I was a stay at home mother to my two beautiful girls and needed something to do outside of being just a mom. I never intended to capture weddings, I was going to be a family photographer. However, things changed when a planner friend asked me to cover some rehearsal dinners (shout out to Events by Summer). They soon asked me to photograph an actual wedding. I was so reluctant but a photographer friend turned mentor (shout out to Ellie) convinced me and hired me to work a few weddings with her to learn the ins and outs. After that wedding, I quickly fell in love with telling couple’s love stories. There is something so special about being the one to document it and create their first family heirloom, their wedding gallery.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For me, it has been a smooth road. I have let God guide me in every aspect of my business, and my faith has provided clarity, direction, and a sense of peace along the way.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a distinguished wedding photographer, I specialize in capturing your most cherished moments with an artful blend of authenticity and refined luxury, ensuring that every image reflects the timeless elegance of your love story. I always tell my couples that their wedding gallery is their first family heirloom and I create their gallery with that in mind. This is why it’s so important to me to not only capture their love, but also all of those who surround them on their wedding day. If there is a single tear or laugh, you best believe that will be in their gallery! I want my couples to feel all of the emotions from their day when they look through their wedding gallery.

The one thing that I take the greatest pride in is my ability to connect with my couples, creating a warm and effortless experience that allows them to feel truly at ease on their wedding day.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t really believe in luck. I believe that God has a hand in my business and He is the one who guides every aspect of it.
