Home and Away Blog was an idea that came to life during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. It was inspired by my two greatest passions: travel and real estate.

I had been working in real estate since 2016, and through my personal adventures, I had been blogging and vlogging about my travel experiences. Over time, many people—especially my real estate clients—began reaching out to me for travel advice. I realized how much I enjoyed helping others plan their trips and turning their dreams into reality, whether that meant finding their perfect home or creating their ideal vacation.

Despite the unique combination, I decided to merge these passions into one cohesive business. And so, Home and Away Blog was born—a brand that bridges the gap between finding a dream home and planning unforgettable travel experiences.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not always been a smooth road. Real estate brokerage and travel planning both require extensive amounts of ongoing training and continuing education, which can often be overwhelming. Being an entrepreneur with two different focuses can certainly require a lot of time management and self-discipline when it comes to prioritizing your goals and staying consistent.

What makes this brand truly special is its heart. While the combination of real estate and travel planning may seem unconventional, it’s the perfect expression of my passions. Home and Away Blog is about more than business—it’s about helping people create lives they love, both at home and abroad.
