Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatjana Sweck

Hi Tatjana, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started using a camera since I was a little girl, capturing memories is what I have always been passionate about. Taking pictures of my friends and family that I know we can cherish forever in our life’s. When I was 15 I got my very first professional camera that I worked all summer for and just started capturing all the most important things in my life, and at that time was friends. In high school I started with taking some senior photos for my friends. Throughout high school and after I went from senior portraits to family photos. I tried to find my style, my passion and what kind of photographer I would like to be. When I was 20 I photographed my very first wedding where I knew that this is what I want to capture for my clients, all the love. For the last 12 years I have grown my work all the way down the east coast, Europe and more, wherever love takes me. I am a Storyteller and someone who wants you to have your album in hand and are able to reminisce over and over again about how incredible your Wedding day, family moment and every precious moment in your life I got to capture for YOU!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Obstacles and challenges I have run into are technical issues, because sometimes technology wants to win. This type of business isn’t a cheap one so having to replace any camera equipment can get challenging. Running a business, having a website, having a gallery page, all the programs and more can get struggling, because they go up in price every year where it seems like I can’t keep up and have to raise my prices.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
When booking with me you will not just have a photographer, but also your very own Storyteller. When you receive your Edited Gallery I want you to feel the emotions your images show of your most romantic day with every candid, laughter filled, and passionate moment’s. I want to be your best friend during any of your special times I get to be a part of for you, I will enjoy and have fun with your event. With me there is no time to be stressed because I will assist in any way that I can.

Most proud of is a tough one but one for the books is being part of Soulfest which is a huge Christian festival up north in New England. Every year in August I volunteer my time with an amazing team where we get to capture some incredible artists but also live baptisms, prayers, fellowship, praising, and more! I have been asked every year to return to such a moving 3 days with God.
I have also been published in magazines up in New England for my different type of photography work.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy the most is being a wife and mother of 3 beautiful children Maeve (4), Aurora (3) and Declan (6m), without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. Everything I do is for them and our life!
