Winterbloom began as a passion-fueled journey to harness the healing power of tea. What started as a deep dive into the remarkable health benefits of tea quickly grew into an obsession. Frustrated by disappointing experiences with online orders and uninspired corporate tea shops, I took a bold leap in 2016, determined to bring something better to the community—a tea collection unlike any other.

Since then, Winterbloom has blossomed. We’ve expanded our offerings beyond exceptional loose-leaf teas, introducing specialty tea drinks crafted with care and creativity. Our journey didn’t stop there; we ventured into new territory with a unique menu of tea-infused cocktails, blending tradition with innovation. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to building Winterbloom was far from smooth, but I knew from the start that challenges were inevitable. One of the greatest struggles—and one that continues to this day—is wearing all the hats that come with running a small business. From operations to marketing, and everything in between, balancing these roles has been no small feat.

Yet, I’m genuinely grateful for these challenges because they’ve shaped me as an entrepreneur. Each struggle was an opportunity to learn and grow. Take photography, for example. In the early days, hiring a professional photographer simply wasn’t in the budget. Out of necessity, I picked up the camera myself. What began as a cost-saving measure quickly turned into a newfound passion. Today, photography is something I truly enjoy, and it allows me to tell Winterbloom’s story through my own lens—literally. It’s a beautiful reminder that even the toughest obstacles can lead to unexpected and rewarding discoveries.
