Today we’d like to introduce you to Chauntina Clark
Hi Chauntina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I had just graduated college, trying to navigate post grad life. I had just moved back home and starting grad school, and working my dream Job an as ABA therapist. For the longest I’ve always left that detail out of my story , but it plays a significant role. While things were seemingly going amazing in all areas of my life both career and family, I was also navigating a really tough spot in my relationship which was the catalyst for my journey now.
I was in what some would call a “situation-ship” for a good portion of my college years, and while stepping into this new phase of life…I simply wanted more. I began going through the woes of a very hard breakup. Not because it was anything was wrong, but because I wanted it to work out, and I knew in the depths of my heart that it would not.
I began doing some soul searching, because being heart broken is just not for me lol! One day at work, I was scrolling TikTok and I saw a snippet of a sermon called “Eat Like a King” by Sarah Jakes Roberts. Through this sermon I had a radical encounter with Jesus, and it quite literally changed my life.
From that moment I began this deep dive in to my healing Journey, while also going deeper in my faith. through this time of solitude, I began my talk series and podcast called #TalksWithTina. By the instruction of the Lord I began to put my healing journey on display on all social media platforms. Through #TalksWithTina I saw true healing happen not only for me, it was also evident in those connected to me.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would love to say it has been a smooth road, but I would be lying lol! The journey is definitely one that has a lot of bumps but God has ordered my steps in such way that the bumps don’t feel as rough.
One of the biggest struggles along the way that I have experienced was hosting my very first conference. It was completely new territory for me, I had never hosted an event before. During that process I had to learn how to start a business, organize a team, learn how to look for event spaces., and event plan. That is no small task, considering I had no reference point. Now being on my third conference it definitely has become easier, but I encounter different challenges like; finding sponsors and donations, event spaces to hold a bigger audience, more advanced technology to make the conference experience better.
I believe anytime you put yourself out there, especially a journey that requires vulnerability and authenticity it is not for the faint of heart. I truly have learned perseverance, and consistency throughout this journey. Mostly leaning on my faith in Jesus to get me through the bumpy roads.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Talks with Tina is both a business and ministry that the Lord has entrusted to me, and it centers around healing childhood wounds and helping individuals embrace their most true and authentic selves. The content that I create is primarily faith-based, as I strongly believe that healing and transformation are deeply rooted in God’s love and truth.
In addition to creating content, I host conferences to create intimate spaces for growth and healing. My most recent conference, Hurt: Not Hidden- Preserved, focused on the power of healing and restoration. It affirmed our purpose in life, and that we were all created for a reason, and preserved for such a time as this.
What sets me apart is that I know my calling is uniquely assigned to the people God has placed in my life. I’m passionate about being authentic in every aspect of my life. I’ve learned that when we show up as our true selves, we create room for others to do the same. Being fully myself has been a journey, and it is truly the best place to be.
What does success mean to you?
To me, success is not measured by the amount of money you make or the space you occupy. True success is defined by the number of lives you positively impact and the legacy you leave behind. It’s about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others and leaving a mark that continues to inspire long after you’re gone. Success is found in how well you serve others and how your actions align with your purpose and values.
