Hi Jetaya, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey started with a passion for helping those in need—specifically the homeless, single parents, and young people looking for a better way. I worked to connect them with stable housing and resources, and through that, I saw how life-changing the right living situation could be. That experience opened my eyes to the impact of homeownership and real estate, so I transitioned into this field to continue making a difference—this time by helping homeowners buy and sell with confidence. Now, I use my background in advocacy and housing to guide families toward stability, opportunity, and a place they can truly call home.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. As a single mother myself, I’ve faced my share of struggles—balancing motherhood, financial challenges, and the constant pressure to keep pushing forward. There were times when things felt overwhelming, but my passion for helping others kept me going. I knew that if I could overcome my own obstacles, I could inspire and guide others to do the same. That’s why I pour so much into my work—because I understand firsthand how important stability and opportunity are, especially for families looking for a fresh start.

We’ve been impressed with Real Estate Agent, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business isn’t just about real estate. It’s about transformation, hope, and second chances. I started this journey because I know what it’s like to struggle, to wonder how you’re going to provide a better life for your children, to feel like stability is just out of reach. That’s why I don’t just help people buy and sell homes, I help them build new beginnings.

I specialize in working with families, single mothers, first-time homebuyers, and those who may feel like homeownership is impossible for them. I take the time to educate, uplift, and walk my clients through every step of the process because I believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. What sets me apart is that this isn’t just business for me, it’s personal. I’ve been where many of my clients are, and I know the power of having someone who genuinely cares in your corner.

What I’m most proud of is the impact. Seeing families step into their first home, watching single moms/dads create a stable foundation for their children, and knowing that I played a small role in making that happen. My brand is built on heart, resilience, and the belief that no matter where you start, a better future is always possible. I want people to know that with the right guidance and support, homeownership isn’t just a dream, it’s within reach.

Any big plans?
One of the biggest things I’m working on right now is opening a youth care center. It’s a dream that’s been on my heart for a long time, and I’m in the process of making it a reality. My goal is to create a safe space for young people—especially those who don’t have the support or stability they need—to find guidance, mentorship, and resources to build a better future.

This center will be more than just a place; it will be a foundation for change. I want to help youth develop life skills, provide housing assistance, and give them opportunities that they may not have had otherwise. While I’m still in the planning stages, I’m excited for what’s ahead and committed to making this vision come to life.
At the same time, I’m continuing to grow my real estate business, helping families, single mothers/fathers, and first-time buyers find homes where they can thrive. Everything I do is rooted in the belief that where you live and the support you have can change your life. The journey is just beginning, and I can’t wait to see it all come together.
