Hi Crystal , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I always was a brow girl and liked my brows done right. I had a bad brow experience and I then learned how to do my own brows which later blossomed into doing other women’s eyebrows. I always had a passion to help others and loved beauty, and self-care. I started my career as a permanent makeup artist when I moved from Atlanta, Ga to Charlotte, NC in 2020. I practiced on my craft day and night. In 2021, Lush Brows by Cris was born and I never looked back since. I absolutely love what I do and I finally feel like I am walking in my purpose.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In entrepreneurship, there are no smooth roads. I had thoughts of wanting to quit when things got hard or the outcomes weren’t what I expected. I had to constantly remind myself of why I started. I look at my failures as learning opportunities. Once I learn from failures, I properly plan and execute from a different approach with a different mindset. I
