Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Robinson

Hi Adrian, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began by simply taking pictures of my family during our gatherings. Over time, I immersed myself in learning about the history of Black artists and photographers. One particular series of interviews documenting the legendary photographer Gordon Parks truly piqued my interest. As I continued to grow, I realized that capturing the world through my lens was my form of art. This passion led me to see myself as a documentarian of African American culture.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wouldn’t say I’ve struggled on this journey, but it has certainly taught me the value of patience. I’m constantly learning more about photography, striving to improve, and working to share my art with the world.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Every day, I set out to document our excellence as a culture and to showcase us to the world in a positive light.

What are your plans for the future?
I’m truly looking forward to continuing to learn and refine my craft. I have several goals and aspirations for the future, including showcasing my work in exhibitions and possibly creating a book once the right projects come together.
