Hi Kyndall, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Since childhood, I’ve dreamed of being part of the beauty industry. Now, with almost a decade of experience under my belt, I’m incredibly proud of the journey. Lovely was born from my desire to fuse luxury service with an intimate suite environment, while employing the finest products for an unparalleled guest experience. My goal is to instill confidence in each client who graces my chair.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overall, I have been so blessed and the journey has been as smooth as life can be. I truly believe God has appointed this to be my calling and to poor into each and guest and show Christs love through my work. I just love what I do, and it’s been incredibly rewarding. I’ve been lucky to have a supportive family who fostered my passion. I went to hair school during high school, graduating with both my high school diploma and my cosmetology degree. After that, I joined a salon that focused on training and supporting stylists, where I spent 7 years learning and growing before opening Lovely.

I’m soon celebrating Lovely turning 1, and while life always has its challenges, I wouldn’t change a thing. Navigating motherhood while being behind the chair has its difficulties, but like any working mom, I’m finding my balance and loving the journey.

At Lovely, I specialize in luxury Covet and Mane Customized Extensions, Lived-in Color, and Dimensional Brunettes and Blonding. My focus is on creating beautiful, natural-looking results that not only enhance my clients’ features but also boost their confidence. I take great pride in providing an experience that goes beyond just a hair appointment it’s about building lasting relationships and making sure my clients feel their absolute best.

What I’m most proud of is how I’ve cultivated a space where both my clients and I feel valued and inspired. My attention to detail and commitment to continuing education help set me apart, as I’m always striving to stay ahead of trends and techniques to deliver top tier service. It’s not just about what I do, but how I do it with care, precision, and a dedication to exceeding expectations every step of the way.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
One of the biggest resources that helps me is the social media community that hairstylists have built. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok have become incredible spaces for sharing techniques, getting inspiration, and connecting with other professionals. I love being able to learn from other stylists, discover new trends, and stay updated on the latest products and tools. It’s also a great way to foster a sense of camaraderie within the industry and keep me motivated to continue growing and improving.
