Community Highlights: Meet Brittiany Keith of BVISIONS EVENTS DECOR & DESIGN

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittiany Keith.

Hi Brittiany, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey into the world of event design started from a place of love, resilience, and sisterhood. Years ago, my sister and I were both single moms trying to create special moments for our children on limited budgets. We would decorate for birthdays, holidays, and family gatherings; not because we had a business plan, but because we had creativity, heart, and the desire to make our kids feel celebrated.

What began as a simple passion quickly grew into something deeper. When I was diagnosed with lupus, I found that creating beautiful spaces became a form of therapy. Designing brought me joy, even on the hardest days. But in 2020, my life changed forever when I lost my sister. Her passing left a pain that words can’t describe, but it also lit a fire in me to carry forward something we started together.

I turned our shared love for decorating into a full-time business, BVisions Events & Decor. Every event I design is done in honor of her, filled with intentional details, love, and purpose. Whether I’m setting up a balloon installation, a bounce house party, or an intimate picnic, I’m not just creating a vibe. ’m creating memories that last.

This business is more than decor. It’s a reminder that beauty can be born from brokenness, and that purpose often finds us in our pain. My story is still being written, but every event I touch is a reflection of my heart, my strength, and the legacy my sister left behind.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
tarting this business while managing lupus and grieving the loss of my sister has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. There were days I pushed through pain and fatigue, and moments when I questioned if I had the strength to keep going.

But even through the setbacks emotionally, physically, and financially, I found purpose. Every event I design helps me heal, honor my sister’s memory, and create joy for others. This journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been meaningful. And that’s what keeps me going.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
BVisions Events & Decor is a celebration-centered business that brings visions to life through creative event design. We specialize in custom balloon installations, luxury picnics, themed backdrops, bounce house rentals, and full event styling for baby showers, birthdays, weddings, and more.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
I’ve learned that life can change in an instant. Losing my sister, battling lupus, and raising my children have all taught me the importance of doing meaningful work while you can. That’s why I pour my heart into every event. It’s not just about beautiful decor, it’s about creating joy, healing spaces, and honoring the people we love.

Purpose drives everything I do. It keeps me grounded, keeps me going, and reminds me that my work is bigger than me.
