Hi Leticia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into pediatric sleep and infant care began from a deep love for babies and a desire to support new families during one of the most vulnerable and beautiful times in their lives. I started working as a nanny, and over time, I noticed how many parents, especially first-time moms and dads, were overwhelmed by sleep struggles, feeding challenges, and the pressure to “figure it all out” on their own.

That inspired me to deepen my knowledge and become certified as a pediatric sleep consultant. I take sleep very seriously, not just professionally, but personally too. As a stepmom to three kids, I know how much quality sleep can impact a family’s well-being, energy, and connection.

I now specialize in supporting families with babies from birth to 23 months, helping parents, especially those who are new to babies or returning to work, feel confident in their routines, get more restful sleep, and enjoy parenthood more fully. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of someone’s village, and I love watching families thrive with just the right support and guidance.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Starting a new business was a big challenge for me. One of the hardest parts was marketing myself. I had to work hard to get my name out there and connect with the right families. There were moments of doubt, especially in the beginning, but I kept showing up because I truly believed in the support I was offering. Over time, those efforts paid off, and every message from a parent saying they’re finally getting rest reminds me that it’s all been worth it.

Zzz Babies is all about helping families with infant from newborn to 23 months get the rest they need through responsive sleep support. I focus in working with first-time and working parents who feel overwhelmed by sleep challenges and daily routines. I offer one-on-one support both in person, serving families in the Triangle area, and online, making it easy for families to get help no matter where they are.

What sets me apart is my hands-on experience—after over a decade of working with babies, I understand that every child is different and unique. I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I learn about the family lifestyle and I guide them with realistic strategies with the support that fits their unique needs.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud that families feel safe, seen, and supported. I’m not here to “fix” babies. I’m here to empower parents with tools, confidence, and reassurance. Whether it’s naps, night wakings, or building a predictable routine, I’m here to walk alongside them every step of the way.

How do you think about happiness?
Helping moms and dads feel confident and supported makes me genuinely happy. There’s something special about watching a tired, overwhelmed parent begin to trust themselves again and see positive changes in their baby’s sleep. I also find so much joy in the little everyday moments with babies and the positive progress they make with sleep and routines.

Another huge point that lights me up is empowering parents to go through sleep training without feeling judged. There’s so much pressure and noise out there, and I love being the person who reminds them that it’s ok to choose what works best for their family. I’m here to support them without guilt or shame.

And I can’t lie, it truly fills my heart when I receive messages from past clients sharing that their baby is still sleeping great months after we worked together. Knowing I’ve made a lasting difference for their family means the world to me.
