We recently had the chance to connect with Justice Terry and have shared our conversation below.
Justice, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of joy from running. It’s become my favorite way to clear my head, enjoy some fresh air, and push myself physically.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Justice Terry, the owner of JusFit Personal Training Studio and a personal trainer with eight years of experience. I’m driven by a genuine love for helping people transform their health and confidence.
At JusFit, we offer personal training, group classes, and nutrition coaching, working primarily with individuals who are starting or restarting their fitness journey. What sets us apart is our focus on building knowledge and confidence. We don’t just train clients, we teach them the “why” behind the movements and equip them with the tools they need to continue their journey independently.
Our goal is , to help clients get stronger, feel more confident, and leave with the knowledge to maintain their results for life.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A big turning point for me was when I read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. One agreement in particular, “Don’t take anything personally”, completely changed how I see the world. It helped me understand that other people’s actions and words are often a reflection of their own reality, not mine. That shift freed me from carrying unnecessary emotional weight and allowed me to focus my energy on growth, both in my personal life and in how I lead my clients. It’s shaped how I approach challenges, relationships, and even how I run my business.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell my younger self, “Stay true to who you are, always. Be your authentic self, unapologetically, and don’t shrink or conform to fit into someone else’s idea of who you should be. The right people and opportunities will align when you honor your true self.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what matters most to me is showing up for the people I care about and for the commitments I make and always keeping my word.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I retired tomorrow, I think my customers would miss my personality and my sense of humor the most. The energy and laughs we share that make their workouts something they look forward to.
