We’re looking forward to introducing you to Audrey Ingram. Check out our conversation below.
Audrey , so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
This is strange for me but its writing actually. Ive never been a person to write or journal but I have been doing alot of writing about my life, my feelings, my healing journey and also writing new projects, skits etc.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Audrey, everyone calls me “4-7” or “Lil Mama”. I am a daughter, a friend, actor, comedian, a Jesus girl, and a joy dealer on a
mission to make faith feel less like a chore and more like a celebration. With a gift
of mixing scripture with humor, I feel that I inspire others to laugh, heal, and grow in
grace, one punchline at a time.
Whether on stage, or online, I try to remind others
that holiness and humor can live in the same heart.
I have been known for my viral comedy video skits that are blended with truth and
humor in a way that hits your spirit and tickles your funny bone at the same time.
Through my skits and writings, and social media presence, I feel that I bring hope,
healing and hilarity to everyday believers and unbelievers who are just trying to get
through the day with grace.
My heart beats for showing Gods love with some laughter.
I have also been given the opportunity to be apart of some great film and television projects within the last few years which has been a great experience. Today I am still pursuing my career in acting and building my brand of “AudreyTwenty47”. My lastest project that I am working on now is writing my first comedy book which is soon to be released this year.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
JESUS….. There is not really much else to say on that.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes. Almost weekly. Lol. I felt like why am I doing this? Am I suppose to be doing this? Is this my purpose?
God told me YES!. I have created you for such as times as this. Whenever I have a moment of weakness and I feel like giving up, I am reminded by this scripture in 2 Corinthians 12:9 “My Grace Is Sufficient For You, and My Power Is Perfect In Your Weakness”. That right there gets me through it all.
Because of my knowing of His grace & mercy that follows me and His Favor that goes before me, I know I am good because God’s strength is the best thing for me in my time of weariness.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes. I would believe so. But I know this may be hard to believe but I am really quiet in person. I dont really say much. I am such an observant person that when people meet me they expect the social media Audrey, shes that girl but she likes to be quiet.
I dont like to do much talking which again can be hard to believe because im so lively on social media, but listen, when I calm all that down I am quiet in a corner somewhere.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I believe so. I do feel that I haven’t even scratched the surface of it all completely but I am closer to it that what I think. The more I want to stop and give up God gives me a sign that’ll remind me that this is what I am suppose to be doing.
I believe good has given me this gift and talent to serve not only Him but his people. So yea, im doing what I was born to do.
