Let’s jump in: When have you felt most loved—and did you believe you deserved it?
I think the most loved is when your closest peers are there for you on the most important day of your life because, they took the time to come and see you…”You” on a day that was determined for you.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
What it is good people, the name is Jamario Battle and I also go by DJ Forbidden. I’ve been DJing for at least 14 + 15 years now. I’m more of an open format DJ. So, with my style of music I’m an all-around vibe type of guy. What I mostly working on with my spare time is edits and mashups.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My mother. I said that because, when I started DJing she was there when it was hard for me to get a gig. She would always tell me to practice and keep going because, someone will notice your gift. So, she was my support system when it came to it.
Is there something you miss that no one else knows about?
Playing basketball. Before the DJing scene, basketball was definitely my love sport.

Staying ten toes to the ground.
