Hi Tee, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I enjoy church with praise and worship.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tenisha Greenfield but every one calls me Tee. I am the owner of TSG Photography. A lot of people ask me why did I go into photography. I love capturing the smiles of others while showing them their true beauty. Photography allows me to show others what they can’t see or haven’t seen in a while. When I look through the lens, I can’t believe I created that magic.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child I felt limited and stuck. Life has taught me that there is no limits to what I can become or do in my life. Through faith and prayer, anything is possible.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There were plenty of times I wanted to give up but giving up wasn’t an option. It meant that I needed to trust God with what he wanted next for my life. When things didn’t go as I planned, I wanted to give up so bad. When no money was coming in, I wanted to give up so bad but instead I continued to pray.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They would say I always put others before myself. They would say that I always want others to be happy and that I always go above and beyond for others.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would stop stressing over what I don’t have and start enjoying the small things.
