Good morning Queen, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
I actually have two moments that made me feel really proud recently the first was that I received a PR package from Tatcha. Tatcha is my favorite luxury skincare brand and so this was a major moment for me especially because I don’t have the biggest following . The second was that I was invited to be a L’Oréal creator which was also a major moment for me that made me very proud.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi I’m Queen and I’m a beauty and lifestyle content creator . I think what makes my content special is that I show a mix of drugstore and high end beauty products in my content . I believe by creating content like this my content is relatable to everyone because everyone’s budget is different and I believe that self-care is so important but it doesn’t always have to be expensive and everyone deserves to invest in self -care no matter what their budget is . As far as my lifestyle content I create content around relevant and trending topics and I’m very honest with my opinions that are mostly based on my personal life experiences.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was a creator! I have always been a creator even before I knew what that meant . I just naturally had it! I could always draw and paint as a kid. I also ended up taking theater as a kid and was naturally really good at it ! I never had to try hard at anything that involved being creative so that’s how I knew I was truly meant to be a creator.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self “ You’re Enough” there is only one of you and that’s so special.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes! It’s so funny because people that don’t really know me think there is no way I’m so nice and down to earth but I really can’t help it . It’s just who I am . I’m also a big supporter I don’t really believe in competition I feel like there is a space for everyone and I also feel that what’s for you will always be for you no matter what and I genuinely love seeing people win !
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel the most peace when I’m at the beach by the ocean or when I go to a hot yoga class . Whenever I do either of these it brings me a type of peace that I can’t explain.
