Hi Giuseppe, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We, Peyton Carlson and Giuseppe Brown started Strength Scaling here in Raleigh because we saw a problem in the fitness industry. Too many gyms, trainers, and wellness businesses were getting overcharged by big marketing companies that ran generic ads and delivered little in return.

As two young guys passionate about fitness and business, we wanted to build something different. From the beginning, our focus has been on real results, not empty promises. We created a system that not only drives leads but also books them directly for our clients, saving time and bringing in people who are ready to show up.

What started as an idea quickly grew into a trusted partner for health and wellness businesses in Raleigh and beyond. Our mission is simple: help small businesses grow with clarity and confidence, without the hidden costs or confusion that hold so many back.

Strength Scaling isn’t just our business, it’s how we live out our belief that small businesses deserve the same tools, strategies, and opportunities as the big players.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. When we first started, we were doing everything ourselves building the systems, reaching out to gyms, testing ads, and figuring out what worked. There were plenty of nights we were up past midnight tweaking campaigns, only to wake up the next morning and see results that fell flat.

One of the biggest challenges was earning trust. A lot of gyms and trainers had been burned before by big companies that overpromised and underdelivered. We had to prove we were different. That meant taking extra time to explain our process, showing up consistently, and in some cases running campaigns at cost just to prove we could bring people through the door.

There were moments where it felt like we were pushing uphill with no end in sight. But those struggles forced us to refine our system, sharpen our messaging, and double down on the personal relationships we build with every client. Looking back, those tough stretches are what gave us the foundation we have now, a process that works and a reputation we’re proud of.

At Strength Scaling, we help gyms, trainers, and wellness businesses grow by handling the entire lead generation and booking process. A lot of marketing companies will run ads and then leave the hard part, converting leads, up to the business owner. We do both. Not only do we bring in leads, we follow up, nurture, and actually get them booked so our clients can focus on delivering their service.

We specialize in creating marketing systems that are simple, transparent, and performance-driven. What sets us apart is that we don’t believe in cookie-cutter campaigns or charging massive upfront fees. We build strategies that are specific to each business, and we tie our success directly to theirs.

Brand-wise, we’re most proud that we’ve built a name around trust. Our clients know we care about their growth as much as they do. We’ve become known not just as a marketing company, but as a partner who is in the trenches with them.

The quality that’s been most important to our success is relentless follow-through. From day one, we’ve made it a priority to actually do what we say we’re going to do, whether that’s testing a new campaign, following up with leads, or making sure a client’s questions are answered right away.

In an industry where a lot of people overpromise, we’ve built our reputation by consistently delivering and being transparent, even when the news isn’t perfect. That consistency has created trust, and that trust has fueled our growth.

We’re also both naturally competitive and curious, we’re always learning, testing, and improving. That mindset, combined with the follow-through, is what’s helped us grow Strength Scaling from an idea into a company we’re proud of.
