We recently had the chance to connect with Comfort Yeboah and have shared our conversation below.
Comfort, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are like a personal reset button—intentional, energizing, and deeply grounding. I begin with prayer and a short devotion, to align my spirit before the day starts moving. That quiet time sets the tone, reminding me who I am and the goals I’m working towards. Then it’s go-time! a quick workout to shake off sleep. Whether it’s stretching, cardio, or just moving my body, it’s my way of saying, “Let’s do this.”
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Comfort Yeboah, and I am a Jane of all trades! A Medical Office Specialist by day, entrepreneur by passion, and full time student. I’m the founder of Comfort’s Touch Cleaning, a growing brand rooted in excellence, integrity, and personalized care. What makes my business special isn’t just the spotless results—it’s the heart behind it. I believe in creating spaces that feel refreshed and respected.
Beyond cleaning, I’m currently pursuing my B.S. in Health Administration at NCCU, building a career in healthcare administration. My journey blends faith, wellness, and ambition and is deeply enriched by my involvement in church, where I serve with the youth and the missionary society. It’s a space that keeps me grounded, gives back to my community, and reminds me that leadership starts with service.
Right now, I’m working on refining my brand, upgrading my website for better conversion, and building visual tools to support my academic and professional goals.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
My mother taught me the most about work. Growing up, I watched her work two to three jobs as a single mother to provide for two children. Through it all, even the hard days when she didn’t have the energy to give—she still got up and kept pushing. Over time, things began to get better, easier, and she showed me that you must balance work with life. While working hard is a must, rewarding yourself and taking a break is just as important. Her perseverance taught me that sometimes you have to work harder than you may want to or think you should, but it’s all for the greater purpose of achieving your goals. As an adult, I now understand and thank her for instilling a strong work ethic in me—one that values both hard-work and balance.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell myself that this is only the beginning, and my current situation is not my destination. Life will always throw curve balls but you will learn to bend and not break.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I believe my closest friend would say authenticity matters to me most. I believe that showing up as your full self and honoring your truth will get you farther and award you a more fulfilling journey. I often tell people, be who you are! Whatever that looks like, because I’m going to be me, through and through.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
I think my customers would miss the warm energy I bring with me. Over the years I’ve been able to build some amazing relationships with my clients. I’ve become so close with many of them, I’ve met their friends and family. It means a lot to be to be seen as more than just their cleaner, but as a friend.
