Daily Inspiration: Meet Angel Chang & Her Non-profit “Counts for Kids”

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angel Chang.

Angel, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always loved making kids smile, it started with my little cousins, which I have over 15, and turned into something bigger. I wanted to bring that same joy to kids who needed it most, especially those in hospitals. That’s why I started Counts for Kids, a nonprofit focused on brightening children’s days through care boxes, kindness projects our hugest and popular project right now, and small acts of love. It’s all about reminding kids that they matter and that even the smallest things like even a toy, a note, a smile can make a huge difference.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Finding businesses, raising money for 501c3, but we always work towards everything we want!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We are a non profit called Counts for Kids. We are known for our kindness boxes that goes to hospitals and near by businesses to kids. We are also known for brightening kids days — helping families dealing with financial problems as there kid is fighting a battle in the hospital. I’m proud of my team and how we all work together to make our goals happen.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Hopefully we have our 501c3 and by then we’ve all grown our non profit and pass it down.
