Today we’d like to introduce you to Teritha Ballard.
Hi Teritha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my entrepreneur journey back in 2017 . During that time and prior to that time I was living paycheck to pay check struggling to make ends meet at the time . Married with three kids at that time was very hard trying to make ends meets while raising three kids and raising a husband(sound crazy right) but that was my story. Growing up i was always very smart i was good with numbers at a young age , i could remember a number at the drop of a dime. I never understood how i could remember a number the way i could and i could count really fast not knowing the entire time God was calling me to teach financial literacy and to teach others to come out of poverty. Fast forward I was sitting in my thoughts one day knowing I was called to greater, knowing I wanted more, knowing God was calling me to more . I’ve always seen myself wealthy, I’ve always had a wealthy mindset, and always wanted better., But that was not enough I couldn’t just have this mindset and not bring it to pass because it would of just been a dream and not my reality. So thats when i birthed out clean slate services I’ve helped hundreds of people shift their life , buy homes , start businesses secure capital for their business, and become six figure earners. I am the owner of Ballard Luxury Services , Ballard consultant firm as well. I take pride in helping others and shifting the trajectory of their lives. I thank God he trust me with the lives of others, he trust me to handle them with care. This entrepreneur journey is not for the weak but i wouldn’t trade it for nothing because i get joy when i see others reaching their goals knowing i played a part in their success by planting the seed and they did the watering it by doing their part and following every blue print i gave them. I am. proud mother of 4 beautiful kids , two of them are adults who are business owners as well. I believe in being. a product of your products meaning i live what i teach others , i don’t teach anything I’ve never accomplished. this is just a little of who I am and what I teach.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No it hasn’t been a smooth road there has been many challenges and set backs . One of the struggles is seeing the potential in others when they don’t see it within themselves and trying to pull it out of them and they rebuttal against it . Trying to take others to the top with me has been a gift and a curse and I say this because I wanted to see everyone successful but I had to realize everyone was not qualified to walk at that level of complicity with me. I had to realize everyone wasn’t called to entrepreneurship and some didn’t want to be an entrepreneur. Having to cancel clients has been very challenging seeing them get to the finish line and they just give up. Finding my people (my tribe) those who are assigned to me had been a struggle early on in business learning that everyone wasn’t my client and that all money was not good money . I’ve accepted clients on my program wanting to see them win , when they don’t do their part the blame went on me that use to bother me when I know I’ve done my part they didn’t do theirs that was hurtful to be talked about in a negative way , I had all the receipts , all the information to know it wasn’t my fault . Then to see them want to come back into my program and me having to decline them respectfully. That was really hard for me knowing they need me again but didn’t listen the first time . I’ve outgrown that space and I realized you can’t make everyone happy no matter how hard you try .
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I teach others how to break poverty ! I teach entrepreneurs how to build their businesses, I teach them how to build generational wealth and not just build it I teach them how to substain it . Ballard Consultant Firm teaches entrepreneurs how to repair their own credit , I how access capital for their business , and how to invest the capital , along with teaching them how to build wealth. I offer a 8 week mentoring with Ballard Consultant Firm by the time the 8 weeks is over everyone should have good credit and have access to capital long as they do their part .

What sets me apart from others is I live what I teach everything I teach I’ve accomplished . I don’t talk about it I live it . I’m very passionate about the financial literacy space because I know what it’s like to struggle I know what it’s like to have to ask others to loan you money , to co-sign for this or that. I know what it’s like to rob Peter to pay Paul .
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I am a person of integrity, I am not judgmental , I am teachable even though I’m the teacher most of the time , I love people , I love to see others overcome their struggles . I don’t take credit for any of it God gets all the Glory.
