Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Anderson.
Hannah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Honestly, I kind of stumbled into photography during a season where I was craving something creative and meaningful after having my daughter. I’d always loved photography but never really pursued it as a business for myself. For a long time, I took photos just for fun or spent time assisting and second shooting for others.
What started as a passion project to find myself again—and to have something that was just mine after feeling a bit lost in motherhood—slowly turned into The Amora Studios, a space where I get to capture memories that feel like something.
Over time, my brand has grown into this blend of nostalgia and luck—full of cherries, stars, and all the little winks from the universe that remind me I’m right where I’m meant to be… and so are you. Whether I’m helping small businesses tell their story online, documenting wedding days, or creating content that helps people relive their favorite moments, it all comes back to the same thing: storytelling that feels real, emotional, and a little bit magical.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Balancing creativity and motherhood while figuring out how to turn this passion into a business was harder than I ever expected. There were moments of doubt, comparison, and feeling like I wasn’t enough, but each challenge taught me something about resilience and trusting my own path. Looking back, those bumps in the road are exactly what made this journey feel so full and meaningful.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I create photography and content that feels like a memory full of emotion and the small, magical details that make moments unforgettable. I focus on candid, documentary storytelling, with a touch of posed and editorial vibes to elevate the moments even more. I specialize in branding and portrait photography plus content creation. With a degree in marketing and experience both running my own business and collaborating with other professionals, I bring a mix of creative vision and strategy to every project. I stand out because I focus on creating authentic, heartfelt imagery that tells each client’s story in a way that feels personal, emotional, and unforgettable.
Any big plans?
Looking ahead, I’m excited to keep growing The Amora Studios and continue refining the kind of work that truly lights me up. I want to take on more creative projects that align with my storytelling style and connect with people who value intentional, emotion-filled imagery. I’m also looking forward to expanding my wedding content creation side and maybe even mentoring other creatives who are just starting out. More than anything, I’m focused on building a life and business that feels balanced, fulfilling, and full of purpose—one that keeps me inspired both as a creator and as a mom.
