Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Boykin.
Tina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Charcuterie Charm by Tina started with me going on a girl’s trip where one friend brought us a charcuterie board to snack on for the weekend. I decided that this was something I could do since I’m a foodie! Charcuterie Charm by Tina was born and I did charcuterie out of our house for two years.
Charcuterie Charm outgrew our house and the storefront was born. Since opening in October 2024, I have added a gift shop with household items, specialty food items and clothing for men, women and children.
I offer Grab & Go lunch and I also do custom charcuterie boards and grazing tables.
Also, I have a large table located in the back of the store for friends to gather for Bible study, meetings, or just to gather friends together. I have a men’s Bible study every Wednesday morning and a ladies Bridge group once a month around the table.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a great first year! My family, friends and this community, have been amazing and very supportive.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I love being in the kitchen (it gets me out of my head) creating beautiful boards or grazing tables for others special occasions. I love learning what the occasion is for and making their board/table to reflect it. Seeing people smile and enjoy their food makes my heart smile.
How do you think about luck?
I don’t much believe in luck. All of this at Charcuterie Charm is a gift from God. My husband and I prayed about this store and what its purpose would be and the big picture is to glorify God here and the little picture is to make our customers’ special occasions just that…special and delicious.
