Rising Stars: Meet Stephanie Lynn of Greensboro, NC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Lynn.

Hi Stephanie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My path into coaching grew out of my own experience navigating betrayal in my first marriage. For years I didn’t have language for what I was living through, until I discovered the concept of betrayal trauma and began my own healing process. That journey led me to rebuild my life, remarry a caring and transparent partner, and pursue deep training so I could support others.

Today, I’m an ICF Associate Certified Coach and a Betrayal Trauma-Informed Coach working with individuals and couples through disclosures, nervous-system tools, and structured recovery. My work is rooted in what I once needed myself—clarity, honesty, and hope after betrayal.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Healing from betrayal in my first marriage forced me to confront layers of trauma, rebuild my sense of safety, and learn to trust myself again. I had to work through betrayal trauma, rebuild my life, and push through fear, self-doubt, and exhaustion while building my coaching practice. But those challenges now allow me to guide others with empathy and real experience.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Betrayal Trauma-Informed Coach specializing in supporting betrayed partners and couples, particularly those navigating sex or porn addiction within their relationship. I guide clients through structured, trauma-informed processes like formal disclosures, safety-building, and nervous-system tools that help them stabilize, regain clarity, and rebuild trust with themselves.

I’m most proud of the way my work blends lived experience and professional training. Having walked my own healing journey, I’m able to offer both deep empathy and clear steps for recovery. Clients know me for creating a safe, grounded, and honest environment where they feel truly seen and supported.

What sets me apart is my combination of personal resilience, advanced coaching certifications, and my commitment to giving clients practical tools—not just encouragement. My approach is empowering, direct, and rooted in real-world healing.
