Today we’d like to introduce you to Mia Jones.
Hi Mia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My path into faith based coaching began long before I realized it. I’ve been in healthcare for over 10 years and later became a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After a work injury forced me to slow down, God used that season to redirect me from traditional nursing into mental health and, ultimately, life coaching.
While working in psychiatry, I saw how many women were battling not just symptoms, but deep soul wounds like rejection, childhood trauma, identity struggles and I felt God calling me to help them heal on a deeper level. Through my own healing journey and spiritual development, I gained clarity about my purpose and the courage to build something of my own.
That’s how my coaching work began. Today, I combine my clinical background with faith based coaching to help Christian women break cycles, restore their identity, and walk confidently in their God given purpose. What started as a difficult life transition has become the assignment I was created for.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all, the road has definitely had its challenges. Transitioning from traditional nursing into mental health and then stepping into faith-based coaching required a lot of inner work, courage, and obedience. One of the biggest struggles was overcoming fear, fear of using my voice and fear of building something outside of the safety of a traditional career path.
I also had to navigate my own healing journey while helping others with theirs. God had to deal with areas like rejection, people-pleasing, and the pressure to “perform” instead of simply being who He called me to be. Entrepreneurship added its own challenges of balancing family, business, and clinical work, while learning how to build systems, content, and confidence from scratch.
Every challenge strengthened me. The struggles pushed me closer to God, sharpened my calling, and shaped the way I now support other women. The road wasn’t smooth, but the growth, freedom, and purpose on the other side made every step worth it.
As you know, we’re big fans of Peaceofmind PLLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business is centered around one mission, helping Christian women heal emotionally, mentally, and spiritually so they can step confidently into the purpose God created them for. Through my coaching programs, I combine my background as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Biblically grounded tools.
I specialize in helping women identify and heal deep soul wounds like rejection, abandonment, identity struggles, childhood trauma, and emotional patterns that keep them stuck. What I’m known for is creating a safe space where women can experience real transformation, not just symptom management. I don’t just focus on mindset or behavior change; I walk women through healing at the root so their identity, confidence, and purpose can be restored from the inside out.
What sets my brand apart is the integration of clinical understanding with spiritual authority. Many women feel forced to choose between faith and mental health, I bridge that gap. My clients appreciate that they can talk about God, trauma, purpose, and emotional wellness in the same conversation without judgment.
Brand wise, I’m most proud of the community and movement that’s forming. Women are experiencing breakthroughs, reclaiming their identity, and stepping into assignments they once felt too insecure or unqualified to pursue. Seeing women become whole and bold again is the heart of everything I do.
For readers, I want them to know that healing is possible, wholeness is attainable, and purpose is real. Whether through 1:1 coaching, free resources, or my group coaching programs, my goal is to equip women with the tools, clarity, and spiritual support they need to walk in freedom and live the life God designed for them.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
There are several ways people can connect, collaborate, or grow with me. For women looking for personal transformation, my Inner Healing Community Program is the best place to start. It’s a self paced course with weekly live support designed to help Christian women heal from emotional and spiritual wounds, rebuild their identity, and step confidently into the purpose God has for them. I also offer group coaching and one-on-one coaching for those who want deeper, individualized support.
For churches, ministries, and organizations, I welcome opportunities to collaborate through workshops, trainings, or speaking engagements on faith, mental health, identity, and inner healing. My background as a PMHNP allows me to bridge clinical insight with spiritual understanding, which many groups find incredibly valuable.
For those who simply want to stay connected or support the work, I offer free resources and educational content through my social platforms and email list. Sharing my content, inviting others to the community, or partnering on events helps extend the mission to reach and heal more women.
No matter the level of connection, my heart is to help women experience wholeness, clarity, and purpose and I’m always open to meaningful partnerships that align with that mission.
