Story & Lesson Highlights with Jasmine Hall El

Jasmine Hall El shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Jasmine, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day set the tone for everything that follows; not just in business, but in how I show up for myself and my family. I start early, usually before the sun rises, to give myself space to connect, reflect, and move with intention before the world wakes up.

I begin with gratitude; sometimes journaling, sometimes simply breathing and giving thanks for another chance to grow and serve. From there, I hydrate and do a short mobility or stretching routine to wake up my body. Movement is non-negotiable for me; it doesn’t have to be intense, but it does have to be mindful.

Afterward, I enjoy a nourishing breakfast and review my day; not just my schedule, but my mindset. I check in with how I’m feeling, what energy I want to bring into my client sessions, and how I can align my actions with my bigger purpose: helping others create a lifestyle that feels strong, pure, and simple.

It’s my version of “pouring from a full cup.” That early rhythm keeps me grounded, energized, and ready to lead others from a place of balance rather than burnout.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jasmine Hall El, and I’m the founder of Strong, Pure & Simple, a luxury wellness concierge that blends functional medicine, fitness, and nutrition into a truly holistic lifestyle experience. My journey started as an athlete and later as a mom who realized that sustainable health isn’t just about workouts or meal plans; it’s about balance, biology, and mindset.

Strong, Pure & Simple was born out of that realization that people don’t need another quick fix. They need a system that honors the whole person. I work one-on-one with clients to uncover the root causes of fatigue, weight gain, and hormonal imbalance through functional lab testing, personalized nutrition, and lifestyle coaching. What makes the brand unique is the concierge-level approach: everything is customized, comprehensive, and deeply personal; designed to make wellness not just achievable, but enjoyable and luxurious.

At its heart, Strong, Pure & Simple is about helping high-achieving women reconnect with their bodies, redefine what “healthy” feels like, and create a lifestyle that supports longevity, confidence, and peace.

Right now, I’m expanding the brand to include digital wellness programs and partnerships that integrate microbiome testing, functional nutrition, and mindful movement, because I believe the future of health is personalized, preventative, and empowering.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I often felt invisible and unloved. I struggled deeply with self-esteem and carried a belief that I didn’t deserve good things; that I had to earn my worth through achievement. I spent years chasing the next award, the next accomplishment, the next sign that I was finally “enough.”

Now, when I reflect on that beautiful, perfectly imperfect little girl, I see her differently. I realize she was always enough; always beautiful, smart, deserving, capable, and extraordinary. She just needed love, validation, and space to shine.

Healing that part of myself has been one of the greatest transformations of my life and one of the reasons I do the work I do today. Strong, Pure & Simple was built from that journey; to help others see that they, too, are already enough, and that true wellness starts with remembering your worth.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear of failure has held me back the most. For a long time, I equated failure with inadequacy; as if getting something wrong meant I wasn’t good enough. That mindset made me play small, overthink decisions, and delay opportunities that could have changed my life sooner.

It wasn’t until I started building Strong, Pure & Simple that I realized failure isn’t the opposite of success, it’s part of the process. Every misstep, every uncomfortable lesson, has shaped the confidence and clarity I have today.

Now, I view failure as feedback. It’s how we refine our purpose and strengthen our faith in ourselves. Once I stopped fearing failure and started embracing growth, everything in my life, personally and professionally, began to align.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what matters most to me is family and love; the kind that’s genuine, grounding, and unconditional. Everything I do, whether it’s in my business or my personal life, comes back to connection and care.

Family is my foundation. They remind me why I work so hard and why I believe so deeply in creating balance and wellness that extends beyond the physical. Love . . . for myself, my children, my community, and my purpose, is what keeps me centered.

At the end of the day, titles and achievements come and go, but the way we love and care for the people around us is what truly defines a life well lived.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope my boys tell everyone how great of a mother I was; not perfect, but present, loving, and devoted. My parents and I have a complicated relationship. Even though they were there, I never truly felt seen or loved as a child. Perfection was the expectation, and even when I met it, it wasn’t celebrated. It was just the standard. I often felt like my feelings were burdensome, and I envied the love and attention I saw given to my younger brothers.

When I became a mother, I made a silent vow: my children would always know they were loved, seen, and valued for exactly who they are. Of course, motherhood has humbled me. It’s the most beautiful and the most challenging role I’ve ever had. I haven’t always gotten it right, and there are moments I wish I could redo. But through it all, my heart has always been in the right place.

I pray that as my boys grow and look back, they understand my heart. That they see I gave them everything I had; my time, my energy, my faith, my love. I pray that it was enough.

Failing as a mother would feel like failing at life for me, because they are my greatest achievement, my most important calling, and truly the center of my heart’s entire function.
