Today we’d like to introduce you to Ron Fowler.
Hi Ron, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My wife Judy and I started selling antiques and collectibles back in the late 1980’s. I got my Auction License and Auction Firm license in 1993. We started doing auctions at this time. A few years later we started adding estate tag sales to our list of things we do. Eventually the Estate Sale business took over the auction business and that is what we specialize in now. About 7 years ago we added Mr. L.B. Daniel and his partner Debbie to our company and it kept growing from there. We have other employees which are Stephen, Jay and Ken. We specialize in doing extensive research on all items in the sales to get the maximum amount for each item in the estate. Our motto is “Whatever it takes”. If we find an object needs to go somewhere like Christies or Sotheby’s to get the maximum amount then that is where we take it. We also add a service of cleaning out the remainder of the items in the home at no charge. They are donated or taken to someone that can use the items. After that we broom sweep the floors and vacuum and the home is ready for the market or to be moved into.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We have been very Blessed along our way through the years. We recently won the “Consumer Choice Award” 2026 in the category of Estate Services/ Liquidator. We have worked really hard and are extra proud to have been presented with this re
cognition.
As you know, we’re big fans of Fowler Auction & Estate Sales. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I think I answered most of these questions earlier. What sets us apart I think is the time that we put into each sale and the care we give to each client. We want to do the best we can to serve our client to the fullest by offering every service that they need. We also have a real estate agent on staff that I forgot to mention. Mr. Mike Wrenn. He has been selling real estate for 30 years. We can go into the home of our client, sell the contents (including automobiles, boats, etc.) and also sell the actual home. We like to call that one stop shopping. Why use several people or companies to do each thing when you can use one and get the job done and get it done right.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
People make me happy. It makes me happy to see our clients reaction after we sign the contract and you can tell that a large burden has been lifted off of their shoulders. Many people do not know what to do when preparing for moving or if the death of a loved one has left them wondering what to do with their belongings or home. I have seen tears from people that are so glad that we are there to help them because they had no idea of what to do.
