Rising Stars: Meet Victoria Veith of midtown Of Beaufort, NC,

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Veith.

Hi Victoria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From the spark of an idea to the realization of a dream, the journey of Beaufort Barre and Fitness began with a moment of inspiration and a fierce determination to succeed. Victoria Veith has been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Fitness Nutrition Specialist since 2016, she grew up dancing and continued through college, although her love of fitness began in middle school when she began using fitness to deal with bullying. She has a passion for helping others find the silver lining and appreciate all that their bodies can do. Victoria sees things through rose-colored lenses and hopes to share this positive outlook with her students. She has taught barre, strength, mat Pilates, spin and many other group fitness classes over the years. She has also helped clients reach their fitness goals with customized nutrition and workout plans.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have certainly been challenges. Before Beaufort Barre & Fitness opened, the business was called Victory Fitness. From 2016 to the Pandemic in 2020, I was offering personal training and barre classes at a local recreation center. When the center shut down for 6 months, I was forced to find other options to continue my business and help people remain fit during this challenging time. For several months, we used outdoor open spaces and people’s homes. I built my collection of workout equipment one piece at a time. At the start of 2021, I joined forces with another local, personal trainer who allowed me to use her personal training studio for my clients. During this time, I built my client base, and focused on nutrition plans. In fall of 2023, a friend mentioned a commercial space was available and I inquired, toured and signed the lease within 2 weeks. In January of 2024 I opened Beaufort Barre and Fitness. There are always obstacles in running a business, but I like to think of them as fun little adventures. Each time I conquer a challenge, I count it as a win.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
What sets Beaufort Barre apart from other fitness studios is our warm and welcoming approach to fitness and wellbeing. When you walk into our studio, we want you to feel like you’ve been wrapped in a warm hug. Our instructors focus on our students, meeting them where they are in their fitness journey.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
One thing that I wish I knew when I was just starting out, is that you are your biggest obstacle. Open your mind to possibilities rather than write things off because you think they’re too difficult. This rings true for fitness and business.
