Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Cori Stuart of Cornelius

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Cori Stuart. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Cori, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
The most misunderstood aspect of being an anxiety reduction specialist who utilizes intellectual, energetic and physical techniques and tools is that I am not the one doing the heavy lifting, the client is the one who does the soul work. Let me explain. Many think that in coming to a healer that the healer will be doing the heavy lifting and healing. Most healing is an inside job. The true job or essence of a healer is to assist you to develop and have the tools and capacity to heal yourself. The healer or coach will assist you in getting to truly get to know and understand yourself on a holistic and soulful level so you can experience more joy and shed stress, experience more sovereignty and shed feelings of helplessness. These are the aspects which I love to dive into with my clients so they are best equipped to experience day to day joy.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
What sets Cori Stuart Holistic Healing apart from other brands is the high touch programs and healing opportunities. I believe that as each individual is unique, you should have tailored programs and responses. I have studied different intellectual & mindset techniques for over 12 years, I’m a huge participant in the classroom of life, as well as different spiritual & energy techniques for over 8 years, and body & somatic techniques for over 6 years.
In 2026 I am launching my Mentorship program where we will holistically create a toolbox of techniques for you to use personally and/or professionally incorporating these tools for healing and where you will gain understanding of the shifting from reactive to proactive lifestyle. If interested, please reach out as several spots remain available. I will continue teaching cohorts of Usui Ryoho Reiki Level 1 and 2 throughout the year. These are based on interest so please reach out to save your seat and reserve your time on the calendar. Custom coaching programs remain available based upon request, with consults currently free.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
One of the first people to recognize me for me was my Mom’s best friend Kathy. Kathy was a true “think outside the box soul” who met everyone where they were and brought out their “inner child” to play. She recognized the importance and always encouraged creativity, day dreaming and imagination. I’m grateful that I grew up with a “ kindred spirit” who encouraged me to be myself and not grow up too quickly, if at all.
Thankfully I was able to maintain my relationship with Kathy until she passed several years back. Throughout our relationship we maintained the childlike wonder and dream in our conversations and growth. She encouraged and helped motivate me to move out of my hometown and corporate employment, to spread my wings and launch my own business. I know that she continues to watch over me and guide my business too.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
One kind thing that I would say to my younger self is that being in touch with your sensitivity is a super power. Please, don’t shut that aspect of yourself down. There are people in the world who do not understand how to translate sensitivity into the day to day, but your understanding of emotions and how to transmute them will attract a different caliber of individual and further empower you! Emotional intelligence comes in handy for leadership, personally and professionally, especially in the realm of serving as a healer for clients and friends alike. True leaders/healers are able to understand and transmute emotions and utilize this data for growth. The greatest feat is the superpower can be passed down to the next generations for the cycle to be broken henceforth.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief you used to hold tightly but now think was naive or wrong?
A belief that I used to hold that I now think of as naive is that time can heal all wounds. I used to believe that with time, and time alone, all things could and would heal. After years of experience I now know that it is only with understanding and embodiment that all things can heal. Grief is not linear, nor is there a time frame, but there are techniques which assist grief from taking over while still honoring the emotions to flow through. There are many studies on how the body keeps the score, however we can assist the body in letting go of what does not serve it and hold onto what does. One of my favorite tools is Reiki because you do not have to talk about the imbalance in order for the body to release it. Reiki can be done in person or remotely.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope the legacy that I share forward is that we all have the capacity to create our own future. As an individual with a history master’s degree I find it crucial to learn from the collective past as well as from our own past, and embody the truths learned. I was raised that there are particular paths encouraged and have learned that we can branch out and create our own path and future while embodying the lessons of our lives and those of our ancestors, loved ones and collective too. I hope that the legacy left for those around me and generations to follow are repeatable, tangible tools & techniques to dive into ourselves while finding the “golden shadows” and breaking cycles while delivering self trust, joy and sovereignty through a healthy and fulfilling life and spirit.
