Arnisha, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. Let’s jump in: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Right now, my daughter is my daily dose of joy! She keeps me laughing, grounded, and on my toes. Motherhood has changed the way I see time and connection and that perspective has made me an even more intentional planner through The Gaither Collective.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Arnisha Gaither, owner of The Gaither Collective, a Greensboro, NC wedding and event planning company known for our fun, approachable, and detail-driven approach. We help couples plan meaningful, stress-free celebrations that feel true to them.
Our goal? To make every event from weddings to corporate gatherings run smoothly while keeping the focus where it belongs: celebrating love, laughter, and life’s biggest moments.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My husband. He’s always been the one to see my potential long before I did. From the very beginning, he believed in my ability to turn my passion for planning into a thriving business, even when I doubted myself. His encouragement gave me the confidence to take the leap and build The Gaither Collective into what it is today.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Keep going! The hard parts don’t last forever, and what’s waiting for you is more beautiful than you think.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes! The public version of me is me. I don’t believe in putting on a front and I keep it real whether I’m with clients, my team, or my family. I’m the same person you’ll meet at a wedding, in a meeting, or at Walmart in my Crocs haha. I’m laid-back, genuine, and always myself!
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I’m definitely doing what I was born to do! I didn’t always know it, but planning weddings and events lights me up in a way nothing else ever has. I love creating experiences that feel intentional, personal, and full of joy and that’s exactly what The Gaither Collective was built to do.
