Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Ruiz.
Angela, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been a pet sitter for a long time, and very much enjoy caring for pets. A sister in Christ mentioned one day that I could become a certified trainer, and it hit me– I was already training dogs– I could totally become a certified dog trainer! For atleast 10 years, I had wanted to become a certified dog trainer! I haven’t looked back! It’s been amazing! Its actually really cool how dog training parallels the Bible! So, now, I am a dog trainer that pet sits and shares the gospel with all I encounter!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Stewarding a business can be challenging, but with Christ, all things are possible! God actually paid for my way through dog training school and helps me stay up to date on staying legal and honoring Jesus in everything I do! In fact, it’s not even my business. I steward God’s business!

Jesus Jesus Jesus! We are Christ-centered and center every practice around how God would do it! We specialize in puppy training, behavior modification, and obedience training with a biblically-based, rewards-centered nnd positive reinforcement approach that follows L.I.M.A principles. We commit to God, to serve your family in integrity with the least intrusive and minimally aversive ways possible. We do not use fear or pain to train. We offer several services, both in your home and out, but one service that we are well-known for is private 1-on-1 sessions in your home. There is no set service charge for this service and has no contract. The client pays what they feel led in their heart to pay at the end of every session. We’re confident God’s Way works, and that the client will stick around until their satisfied. Building a trusting relationship between handler and k9 is crucial, and we are strong advocates for this particular service, because it helps to not only build, but maintain lasting trust. We’re helping the family effectively communicate with their k9 family and it’s so beautiful to watch and be a part of. We’re advocates for the whole family being part of training! The kids too! Amen!
